"I know, my mother used to tell me a nursery tale that it is remaining evidence of a great battle that went on in this very clearing. More like a war, she used to say. She never told me who was fighting though." The leader mewed before flicking her tail. "We better keep moving. Try and remember where we go and the routes we take. You wouldn't want to get lost, would you?"

Threeleg took the leaves from Goldenpaw. "Gullstep, please eat these." He pushed two leaves towards her. "You can't panic too much or you'll scare the other kits." He mewed before continuing to lick Applekit, hoping she would warm up.

Juniperfrost turned at her apprentice's voice. "Berrypaw! Where have you been? Look at you, you look like the whole dark forest turned on you." The fae mewed, fussing over the she cat as if she were the queen's kit. The small she cat always thought of the ginger tabby as a daughter. "Threeleg won't be happy with you. Especially since Applekit fell ill." She rambled, forgetting what she was really meant to be telling the apprentice.

Sparrowpaw flattened his ears slightly. "If this continues then Fernstar may have to speak to Puddlestar before the next gathering." He mewed before adding. "Or Threeleg may speak to Eveningleaf about it. The half moon is only in a few days isn't it?" He sighed, glancing out the den at the nursery. A chill ran down his spine as a thought sparked in his mind. Had StarClan abandoned the Clans?

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

Whiterain continued to patch up the den, looking back at the CloverClan cats every so often. He was curious to know what was happening, but he knew he shouldn't intervene. He glanced over his shoulder to see the medicine cat apprentice soothing what he assumed was another queen.

Slight disappointment was evident in the mentor's meow as she looked at her apprentice. "Fernstar will want to know about this. Why were you in StoneClan camp? And why did you have wounds that needed patching?" She questioned, ignoring Berrypaw's concern over Gullstep's kit.

A sight escaped Berrypaw when she saw Juniperfrost's disappointment."Me,Sparrowpaw and Dustpaw went to see what happened in Willowclan...On the way we meet with Pinepaw. When we reached Willowclan's camp foxes showed up.Me and Sparrowpaw got just a few scratches, but Dustpaw and Pinepaw we bad injured so I offered to take Pinepaw back to Stoneclan. And there Eveningleaf and Hawkpaw, her apprentice, took care of our wounds and that's why I went to StoneClan."After a second of silence she spoke again."Juniperfrost...It was my idea. Fernstar shouldn't punish Sparrowpaw and Dustpaw..."The she-cat said wishing to take all because her mentor was already disappointed and there was no reason for the others to get punished too.

Juniperfrost wanted to feel enraged, and she knew she should've, but all she felt was bitter disappointment and she felt partially responsible. "I thought I trained you better than this." She repeated in a quieter voice. "All four of you were selfish and you didn't think of how your Clan might feel. You injured yourselves pointlessly and now Threeleg will have to use valuable herbs. You are lucky it's nearly newleaf." After a brief sigh, the queen continued. "Of course you should all be punished. They went with you, and they are just as responsible as you are, Berrypaw. However, in a situation like this it is not my place to punish you, but Fernstar will be notified right away as soon as she comes back from Sorrelpaw's training session." After a moment of silence, the small tuxedo tabby added, "I'm very disappointed in you, Berrypaw."

Whiterain looked back again to see a small ginger tabby talking with the same queen. The ginger fae looked injured, and scented strongly of WillowClan. "Where have you been, young one?" He murmured in a voice so low, even Rosedust would have trouble hearing.
