Ravenpaw pressed against Frostpaw, laying his tail across her shoulders. "I'm sorry." He mewed. "I didn't realize how much you liked him. If it's this strong, then surely he will like you back." He spoke softly, on a gentle manner that you rarely ever see from him. "If I might ask, who is it?"

She was grateful for his understanding. Her heart fluttered as she answered, "Flamepaw." The image of the cat flashed through her mind, filling her with feelings of warmth and love. They were exact opposites, and Frostpaw never realized that's really what she needed. "H-he just means so much to me, I don't want to mess it up. I guess I'm just worried that he won't ever want to talk with me again." She sighed and shifted her gaze to her paws.

A feeling of disappointment surprised Ravenpaw when Frostpaw revealed who it was she loved. He quickly pushed it away. "The only way you're going to feel better is if you tell him." He mewed. "And if he truly loves you, then he won't be able to never talk to you again." He purred.

She purred at his words and gaze him a small nuzzle on his shoulder. "I wish I was more like you, Ravenpaw. Thank you for the advise." He filled her with a confidence similar to Flamepaw's, she hoped it would be enough to express her feelings. "I should try and go find him," she said after a momentary pause. But she didn't want to leave Ravenpaw alone. She inhaled sharply before asking, "Would you talk with me again after I find Flamepaw?" Her eyes were pleading, and she hoped with all her heart he'd say yes. He seemed like a really good friend she would love to come to know.
