She nodded and got ready as it ran. As it got closer, she shrunk to the ground, then darted towards it as it neared her. She grabbed its tail in her mouth, shaking it a bit before holding it against the ground with both of her paws and sinking her teeth into its neck. Once it was limp, she spat a bit. "Ugh, I have it's tail hairs stuck in my teeth" she groaned.

Swiftheart padded back after a moment, mouse in jaws. He lay it down. "This was scampering right around my paws." He laughed. "Good thing you have a great set of sharp claws!" He mewed.

"Tch, they're nothing compared to your speed" she mewed, whilst digging a hole to put the squirrel in. "Maybe we should use that speed to try and get that rabbit I couldn't catch"

Swiftheary smirked. He took of barreling down the path at a pretty impressive speed. He licked his muzzle and pounced. After loosing it owns and retiming his pounce, he got it. He skidded to a halt beside Beachpelt, panting. "Meh. No the best." He mewed, dropping it with his mouse in his own hole.

"Not your best? I don't know anyone who could do better!" she said. She nuzzled his cheek, then kicked dirt over the squirrel, covering it. "shall we carry on hunting around here or move further away from camp. I think we might of scared the prey away" she asked.
