Leo grinned at her. "You actually like it here?" Jadyn's mouth was firmly closed, but he tried to read Star's thoughts anyway, wondering what 'curious' things she was thinking.

I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get

While Jadyn continued to read Star's thoughts, musing over everything she was saying to herself, Leo was nodding as if he was interested in everything Star said. "So it's a good school? That's cool. Our last school was a piece of -insert words which cannot be typed on CS here- so we had to leave. It sucked majorly, but this one seems alright. Better than the other one, anyway." Jadyn didn't hear them, simply reading Star's mind like an open book.

Star: she nodded lightly listing to him. "well its a good school it has some nice people in it." every nice person but me, oh god there so nice the girl there sister she reminds me of my mom... She frowned slightly but then forced a smiled looking at leo. Why did my mom have to leave, Ugh im such a -female dog- I really screwed up She looked up at the ceiling. "though the school could use a few repares"

Jadyn laughed at that. "Are you sure?" but stopped reading her thoughts when Leo nudged him in the ribs. "It was all grey, no colour. We weren't allowed to talk to the other gender. It was an all-dog school and there was no playground where we could hang out. Nothing."
