Swiftheart dropped into a hunting crouch. He stalked slowly forward. One...he crept as close as he could. Two...he bunched his muscles. Three...he leapt! The sparrow took of, but not before he could swiftly sink on his claws. He pulled it to the ground and killed it. Burying it, he moved on to check the undergrowth.

She watched him, silently following behind. She moved away from him when she smelt a rabbit and crawled towards it, her tail brushing against the floor. She lept, but wasn't close enough, so missed and landed just behind it. The rabbit jumped and sprinted away. She swore slightly under her breath, watching it dart away.

Swiftheart padded to her, and flicked his tail at a small hazel tree. A squirrel sat under it. "I'll run it this way." He mewed. "Get ready." He stalked forward, inching to the left. He disappeared in the undergrowth. He darted out from behind it, catching its tail in his claws. It spooked and raced towards Beachpelt. He gave slow chase, in case she missed it.

She nodded and got ready as it ran. As it got closer, she shrunk to the ground, then darted towards it as it neared her. She grabbed its tail in her mouth, shaking it a bit before holding it against the ground with both of her paws and sinking her teeth into its neck. Once it was limp, she spat a bit. "Ugh, I have it's tail hairs stuck in my teeth" she groaned.
