Moon slowly crept out of the nursery, to watch the scene. She bowed her head and walked back in to rap herself around her little kits.

Orangetail noticed moon. He picked up some prey from the fresh kill pile and brought it to her. "Here. " he said, walking into the nursery.

Moon looked up at him. "Orangetail?" She asked. "Is Littlepaw dead?" She said quietly. And nodded accepting the food.

"yeah." orangetail said softly, sitting down.

{ Correction, it's Sorrelpaw, not Shadowpaw. And I happen to know a lot about herbs. The reason Littlepaw would have did is because it wasn't treated as soon as it should have been with the herbs it should have been treated with. The herbs I listed are what should have been used right away, but it seems our Medicine Cat did not know that.

Moon looked away, her appetite gone. "I never really did know her, though Wolfcry told me she bad big dreams. No cat should ever die that young.." She whispered, and glanced at her kits. "What would I do without them?"

Flamespots lifted some of Littlepaw's weight and, feeling as though her legs turned to stone, slowly shuffled into the clearing. She returned Orangetail's wave halfheartedly as she gently laid Littlepaw down in the center of the clearing.
