"Who says I live in the desert?" Flicker retorted, still growling deep in her throat. "Assumptions," she hissed, "are the foundation of deceit." Studying him thoroughly, she let out a burst of flame and arched her barbed tail. "Come to take over this territory too? Never content, you NightWings."

Pathfinder lifted his head slightly, eyes still locked on Flicker. "Like you said," he hissed, flicking his tongue in and out. "Assumptions are the foundation of deceit. I'm a loner. I do not side with the queen. What she's doing is wrong." He dug his talons into the rock beneath him. "So, hybrid, will you answer my question? Who are you?"

Everest started to beat harder until he was flying in sink with rocket "well it it true? " he asked his voice calm as he looked at his brother "was there a red egg in the same nest as yours?"

Jelly nodded and brought the small dragons inside the large cave she looked at them and made a few funny faces trying to make them smile at the side of the cave she saw a larg feather she walked over to get it and gave it to the small dragonets. "Looks like there asleep " she thought before curling her tail around them and putting her wing over them to block out the fading sun. She didn't sleep she only watched the cave.

Ember yawned, sitting up against Snowstorm's leg. He snuggled up to her leg, enjoying that she was about as warm as he was.


Sapphire soared above the cliffs. She swooped down on some sort of Large cat, before killing it quickly. She Took off, Feline in mouth, back to the cave. She dropped the cat as she swooped in, landing beside the body." Anyone hungry?"

Jelly lifted her head and moved her wing up to let the sun wake the sleeping dragonets she uncurled her tail And stood up and looked at sapphire "I think after there nap they would be pretty hungry " she smiled

Pharaoh was resting down at the edge of the pool, staring down at his face. Despite the fact it had only been a few days, maybe even a week, he still looked SO different. How was such a change possible? It was almost like he was a few years older... Maybe more grown up. Or perhaps it was the fact that he wasn't such a scardy-cat anymore... Even though he was, deep down. He sighed, feeling tears prick the corners of his eyes as he ran his talons through the reflection, destroying it, only to have it blur back into focus a minute later. They needed to get going... They'd been in the cave long enough for the storm to settle.

Pathfinder puffed out a bit of smoke from his nostrils. "Precognition doesn't always work like that," he said coolly. He was tempted to say her name, but that might give away his mindreading. The NightWing quietly jumped down from the rock ledge, walking over and sitting back down near Flicker. "Alright. Will this make you trust me a bit more? My name is Furyclaws." He couldn't exactly have his name going about, could he?

Snowstorm's eyes widened a bit as Ember came over, making his 'Awrk' noise. "Oh, hello," she said softly as the small dragonet snuggled up to her leg. What did Ember expect? She didn't radiate heat or was warm like other dragons; she was an IceWing. She radiated a chill and had no fire. Snowstorm looked up as Sapphire swooped in, then back at Ember. "Look, your mommy is here," she said softly, nudging his shoulder lightly. "Want to go over?"

Pharaoh got up, stretching out his hind legs, then glanced over at Snowstorm, who was busy cuddling with Ember, the young dragonet. He winced slightly, even though the dragonet was ten times younger than she was. He strode over, avoiding the gaze of the skywing dragonet. "We should go," he said to Snowstorm simply, flicking his head in the direction of the cave exit. "The rain's died down. We should just rally the others."
