Halo

Halo stifled an amused snort, giving a look of mock anguish at her remark. "Limpy! I have to say, that I'm totally destraut. My self esteem has been ruined." he responded in a long, suffering voice, doubling his efforts as he came up a few yards to her right. It was a close race, but Heartz was just too fast. Too spry for his crippled 4 yr old frame. When he finally reached the branch, he smiled triumphantly, waiding out to the center of the pool. He let his leg float out behind him as he turned to face her, and then plunged his face underwater. Unable to resist, he blew bubbles with his nose before he threw his head back, shaking the water from his mane. "Ahh, refreshing." he sighed in utter enjoyment, splashing his tail in the water so that Heartz would get wet. The water was just a few inches under his barrel, perfect to thrash around in.

Glancing back over his shoulder at Dolce, Livius saw she was deeply asleep on her feet still and twitching in whatever dream she was currently moving through. He was somewhat jealous. Ever since he had left his home herd, he had been unable to sleep well for fear of being attacked by a predator in his lone state. He continued his ambling walk towards Canad and the new mare now, since it appeared that Halo and Heartz were now gambling off towards the river. He couldn't help but smile. He would gladly play with the yearling as well, once she got to know him and see that he wasn't scary. Stopping a dozen feet from the herd leader, he spoke with the proper volume - not too overbearing, but just loudly enough to be noticed.
"Excuse me, sir? Canad? I wanted to meet the new herd member, if you have accepted her?" The grullo stallion stood there quietly, ears perked forwards and a twinkle in his violet eyes as he waited to see if he was addressed and therefore invited closer.

I opened my eyes quickly with a small, surprised snort. I looked around and sighed in relief, back where I should be, and no one seemed to notice. I thought and shook my head, why can't I get some real sleep? Just dreams that scare me awake is all I get. I closed my eyes again and just listened to the suroundings. An eagle cried as it soared over head about a yard away and quail walked with about four others in the tall grass. I sighed and relaxed again then heard Halo and Heartz playing and Livius, Livius I couldn't hold the thought back, just friends; just friends. I told myself. Canad was still talking to the new mare and seemed to be very happy around her.

Heartz laughed at the childness of the stallion. She reared flinging her front legs so water would get in his face. As he splashed her with his tail she turned so it would not hit her face and thrashed her tail at the water as well.

Famous smiled at the grullo stallion. She was surprised at the amount of stallions in this herd.

"well, famous.. would you like to join my herd?" he said, flaring his tail out to show off his land. he smiled, motioning her to follow with his tail. he smiled at livius, welcoming him to join, even when in his head, envy was burning. such a stunning stallion, i am sure to never get a mate.. but he excused this fact to try for himself and to lead his herd responsibly. maybe a female would make him less of a strong leader, maybe he was to stay away from love? he felt his eyes glazing over, and shook his head to snap out of it. his tail was twitching, showing obvious distress, even though he was trying to hide it. he began to walk towards the river to get a drink, wondering if famous and livius would follow after his odd behavior.

Halo

Halo ducked to the side, pinching his eyes shut as water sprayed his face. She was fast, and deadly accurate with that tail of hers. He needed a counter move before he ended up completely drenched. Then, continuing to lash his tail, he tryed to out splash her. Water was sailing across at him in buckets, the endless pelting causing him to laugh. His aim was thrown off as he sent water hurtling back, and nearly half of it ended up on the ground. "Back fowl beast!!" he shouted playfully, as if he were fighting off some sort of sea creature. "I swear, do you have gills?!"

Livius nodded towards the new mare, assessing her in one brief glance from head to tail. She was a light dun with faint barring and darker points to her mane and tail. Her eyes were a very light blue, much like the sky, and the stallion smiled. He could see why Canad appeared to be somewhat smitten with her.
"It's nice to meet you, m'am. If you need any help, just ask either Canad or Halo. I just recently joined the herd myself," he explained, swishing his tail nonchalantly, "and both stallions were very welcoming to me. I bet Canad knows where all the best grass and coolest water are, eh, sir?" He raised his smooth tenor voice to carry to the stallion, who was moving off towards the river. "Just follow Canad, m'am, he'll show you the good stuff. Oh, and Halo? He's our second-in-command, great with younglings. In fact, I thought I saw him racing one of the yearlings not too long ago towards the river. Maybe you'll meet them too." Giving her another polite nod, he looked back over his shoulder. "Dolce! Come here and meet the new herd member!" His voice carried across the green, startling up a few sparrows from their seed-finding nearby.

Heartz


She laughed so hard she had to stop fighting back to keep her balance on the sliperey rocks below. "No, Its called i got skills old man." She spit out between bits of laughter. She knew this would eg on Halo so she burst out of the water and took off along the edge of the river. She wouldn't go top spped tilll she knew he was following.

Famous


She chuckled at Canads iritablility with the other stallion close by. "Thank you." She said to Livius. She trotted to catch up with Canad "Are you ok?"

Currently I cannot do breedings. So I'll say no. As giving a description is still commiting me.

When I have time I might considering breeding again for pets or items, but not for free, and maybe between players. But it can get complicated with who owns who ans owners not wanting the foal becuase it looks like the other persons equid more then their own.

But if your roleplayers have a foal they must keep it and must use it. I don't want to spend my time to have them use them and go off them.

So maybe in a couple of days or so I'll consider it. But prices will be high.

Halo

Halo's mouth fell open at Heartz's viscious comment, and he pawed at the water in mock anger as she bolted for land. This ment war. "Hah! Old man, huh?! With age comes cunning to make up for general lack of speed, and I have 3 whole years on you kid!" he shouted after her in response, stomping his way out of the water before he took off. He had a pattern formed to aid his speed, most of his weight focused on the good hind leg as he rocketed forth. But he'd have to rest soon, unless he wanted to go lame. The wind streaming in his mane and tail, he was gaining on her quickly. Faster and faster he ran, soon starting to note the deepness of the river again. The rocky shelf they now raced on was higher up at this point, and the water ripped savagely along the edges. He could see the forest as it loomed ahead, the density mildly intimidating, and he suddenly had a small urge to turn back. The forest ment predators, and he was injured. He couldn't protect Heartz properly if something happened. The urge grew as he began to slow down, then stopping all together as he skidded on the rocks. "Haha, you win, I think we should turn back now." he chuckled nervously through gasps, trying to catch his breath. "We don't want to get too far away, especially with that rogue stallion running around." he said, his voice starting to grow steady. This was a fact. If that stallion managed to cross somewhere down stream, he couldn't protect Heartz. She'd be taken, and he'd be left to die. He swished his tail, keeping his eyes and ears peeled for any sort of nearby disturbance. An injured stallion and a yearling, all alone. He could practically feel the invisible targets plastered on their backs.

Heartz

As she ran along the river the slipperyness(sp?) of the rocks became worse and she slipped a couple times. Once almost falling. As Halo slowed and stoped she turned a wide arc and returned to him barely breathing hard. "What stallion?" She asked not remembering on coming to the herd but quietly hopeing it wasnt the one she came across before she found Canad. He was a lighter Grey than herself but was mean and she had only escaped because she was so young and was fast. She shook her whole body to rid the thought hoping Halo thought she was only trying to rid of the extra water. She couldnt look him in the eye.

Shadow

As he traveled down stream he found a shallower but stil fast moving spot int the river. Figuring this was the only place to cross any time soon he ran a cross with the water only coming up to his knees.The edge of the forest met him on the otherside and he almost ran into a tree. He walked through the forest keeping his ears and eyes open fo other equids. The trees were starting to become less dense and he could start to hear the sounds of hooves and neighs that could only come from other Equids. He smiled knowing he was getting close and might just get a mare of his own.
