Evasion padded over to Zasha and Ripper. "Hey are you guys okay?" He asked.

Ripper nodded and wagged his tail happily. "Yeah, just a collision."

Evasion nodded. "Okay just checkin'" He said wagging his tail.

Shasta smiled and looked over at the puppy center.

James smiled back, and then continued with the tour.
"And to the right you see can see the teenaged dogs starting a running race around the cave," James continued. "And ahead of you is the adult area. Of course, not all the adults stay here, such as myself and Nancy. Nancy likes to patrol around at daytime and usually comes in at night, and then sleeps by the pups to make sure they're alright. I sleep by a different side everynight, because I want to make sure everybody's alright at night. Here at the cave, everybody looks out for eachother. Now, I know that you're an adult dog, but everybody must have a 'Buddy' as the little ones call it. So, if you want to look around the cave, you can find your 'Buddy' just like everybody else does. If you need any help, I'll be over by the pups."

James walked around.
He hadn't ever gotten a buddy, because everybody else thought he was too serious and too scary.
He sighed and sat down, looking around.
Everybody grunted when they passed him.

Alpha took a glance at James and Shasta. He felt more confident now, and he knew he wouldn't lose her. He had just met her and he already knew she was special. Alpha didn't care if they ever became more than friends or not, he just knew he always wanted to be her most reliable friend.

Shasta sighed and looked around. She glanced back at James and wondered if she should ask him if he had a buddy. He probably did but she didn't know. She looked around to see who she should ask.

James looked at Shasta.
She hasn't found a buddy yet, but what if she laughs at me if I ask her? he thought. Well, I guess the only thing she could do to me is laugh, and then I'd know that it wasn't meant to be. But I'll never find if I don't try.
James walked slowly over to Shasta.
"Uh... have you found a buddy yet.... or do you need help?" James asked slowly.
