((I just had to make another dog. I loooove how this RP is going. :3 <3))
The Form;
Character's Name-
Dakota.
Age-
A little over three.
Breed-
Chow x German Shepherd
Personality-
Dakota is much like the Queen's Guard in London, only she allows herself to move and speak, but only rarely. Very rarely. Most times she stands/sits perfect still with her eyes occasionally twitching from side to side to look out for humans or watch other dogs conversing. When addressed, Dakota usually just glances at the dog calling for her, blinks, then turns her head away again. Dakota enjoys the company of other dogs, she just has a hard time showing it because the dog was seperated from all other dogs at a young age and she just had a hard time communicating.
Dakota hates following orders and usually tries to assume to position of leader before any others have the opportunity, though she often fails due to her quiet nature. While her quiet nature makes her seem like a sweet heart, Dakota has a heart and steel and will often leave dogs behind if they're being chased by humans. Though if you're lucky, she might turn and tear at the human's arm before losing a friend.
Gender-
Female.
Appearence-
Dakota
Appearence-
Dakota has the tail of a Chow, only with a little less curl due to the Shepherd in her. She wears a fashioned leather collar around her neck, usually hidden by her fur.
Display Colour-
Lavendarish? :3
Anything Else?
When speaking Dakota has a strange Irish accent. She took the name Dakota when her Irish family moved to America, where she was soon lost in the hustle and bustle of the large city.

Jess nodded, her short tail wagging slowly as she matched his stride across the beach. Looking around, she spotted the man selling hot-dogs, obviously the place Gamble was headed. She grinned, staying next to him until they were in view of the cart, when she nudged him and padded off to hide. "Good luck!" She called over her shoulder at him as she dodged behind some decorative shrubs, "I'll be waiting..."
Poking her head through the mass of leaves, Jess peered over to the hot-dog cart, watching Gamble pawing the air. He seemed to be fooling the man, at least. Her tail wagged harder and she pulled back, looking round the side of the plant. She smiled as he ran over with a hot dog. She picked it up and carried it behind the shrub, having no intention of eating without her friend.
Jess ran from behind the plant, following Gamble up to the cart. "Good idea! This should be fun," She play bowed, her eyes bright as she waited for her cue. Suddenly, Gamble had the man on the floor and Jess let out an excited bark, rushing forwards. She jumped up onto her back paws, resting her front ones on the hot-dog stand as she looked at the food.
She leant forwards, grabbing as much as she could. Having filled her capacities, she jumped down, knocking the cart as she did so. It began to roll away, ending in a jumbled mess as it reached a dead-end. "Oops..." She mumbled round the food. Racing past Gamble, she tapped his back with her tail as she passed, telling him she was done. She dodged back behind the same plant as before, dropping their prize beside the first one.
( xD I like easy ways. I'll keep a look out for changes, then. ;3 *Tuts* Poor Gamble... D: Jess will still be his friend <3 *Insert soppy song / quote here* x3 )

I feel these four walls closing in, face up against the glass, I'm looking o u t...
Tia realized with a start that they were not all safe. The thought made her skin crawl and she stumbled the best she could over to the ledge. Being a tall dog, she lowered her head so as not to skim the jagged roof above her. Taking a deep breath, she glanced over. The large shepherd-like dog was sitting, staring at the rocks. She could not make out his expression to be one she recognized, but she blamed that on her understimulated pup-hood. Turning to smile hopefully at Blake and Jude, she looked pointedly down at the dog. "He's still down there..." Tia told them.
"Hello?" Tia murmured down to him, "You should come up..." Fumbling over her words, the slender female watched him. "Can you get up?" She asked quickly, hoping that he could, because she was not one to abandon a dog to it's own fate, stranger or not. Whipping her tail around her flank in what she hoped was a comforting gesture, she observed him silently. He seemed an intruiging character; she certainly wanted to get to know at least his name.
Is this my life I'm wondering, it happened so fast, how do I turn this thing a r o u n d?

Blake shrugged lightly, shuffling closer to the edge. That shepherd was a strange one, and no mistake, but it wasn't like him to hold it against someone. He was just as lost as they all were; each and every stray dog was in the same boat. Some would never admit to being scared or even uncomfortable with their new surroundings, but Blake knew that even the toughest dogs would have to feel something about life on the streets. Those who'd been cherished pets would find it hardest, even Blake, who hadn't exactly enjoyed domestic life -sure, he was fed and watered, but his owners just didn't understand him, or his breed- missed the warmth and familiarity that comforted him when no amount of cuddles or walks could.
Blake shook his orangey pelt, spraying a fine mist of sand through the cave. He gave Jude an apologetic look, and lowered his head to the edge of the rocks. It wasn't right, leaving the dog down there, but what could they do? Blake knew they couldn't force him to join them, but maybe they could persuade him that whatever kept him down there was nothing worth worrying about; that it was safer in the cave.
The Basenji raised his head again, casting his gaze over the beach, there was some sort of commotion going on by the pier, but nothing too interesting. Blake felt his eyes being drawn to the city again- to the bright lights and bustling crowds. He certainly wouldn't miss it. But where were they supposed to go from here? It wasn't safe in the city anymore, not with all the dog catchers. He'd heard terrible stories of what happened once a dog was caught, and all of them made him shudder. Capture wasn't an option, they had to find somewhere safe. Somewhere the humans couldn't reach.

Jess stepped from behind the shrub, leaving the now-hidden hot dogs while she waited for Gamble. Her gaze flickered from him as she noticed a movement at the top of the beach. Someone... In the caves? She tilted her head, squinting as she tried to get a good look at what it was. Dogs! More like her and Gamble! Unable to hold back her excitement, she let out a bark, still concentrating on the caves. I wonder how many?
She turned her head back from them to eye Gamble, "Theres dogs up in the caves! D'you think their friendly?" She recoiled from her own words. How could she think that? How could she say that? Of course they were friendly! Perking up again, she let out another bark, louder this time. The hot dog human seemed occupied and Jess danced in a circle, her tail wagging furiously.

Jude stared out of the cave and towards the ocean Such a beautiful thing, yet so terrifying. she said to herself, feeling something small and grainy hit her pelt pulled her out of her thoughts. Jude looked at Blake and wagged her tail, telling him it was okay, her mind seemed to wander to the large do that had not yet joined them, "What is he doing?" she asked, flicking her ears back and licking her. Hops nerviously

Blake moved back to where Jude was, "I have no idea." He said, truthfully, licking his lips. They tasted salty, but not unbearably so, kind of like when his owner cried. That was it, human tears, they tasted salty, like the sea. Blake remembered when his owner used to come up, gather him to her chest and cry into his fur. It wasn't particularly comfortable for him, but Blake hated seeing anyone unhappy- dog or human. He shuffled closer to Jude, "Maybe Tia can work it out; she should be able to help him." Blake was referring again to the shepherd, whose presence outside the cave was somewhat comforting, yet at the same time worrying. The latter, for the simple reason that he didn't understand the dangers of street life, or -presumably- what they were running from.

And you could call it a Gamble,
--------------
g a m b l e
--------------
But I call it life.
Grabbing a hotdog between his teethand chewing it, Gamble glanced at Jess. "Nice work. You really brought the stand down." He laughed, wagging his tail. Looking over at the rocks, he caught a glimpse of the dogs, "I don't know. Maybe we should check out the shack I was talking about since we now have eaten. We can come back, but I get a bad vibe that they won't like me."
His eyes were glued to the dogs as they talked now. All he wanted to do was rest. Some dogs loved the night, but Gamble had become accustomed to sleeping at night and waking up early after his time living with humans. He shook his pelt out, grabbing another hotdog. After the second one was finished, he had had enough for the night.

The girl you just called fat...she's overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly... she spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped... he is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars... he fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying... his mother is dying. Put this as your status if your against bullying.

:II I z o k u II:
Sometimes life takes you away
It snatches your breath
And leaves you spinning away
But don't forget
The whisper in the dark
Izoku saw a flicker of motion and he looked up towards the clifftops, where he knew a large cave resided. His cocked his head slightly, eyes narrowing as he tried to catch the sounds from the cave. There. Scrabbling and muttered voices. They were muted and he couldn't make out the words, but he knew it was dogs. And quite a few.
He sighed and smiled grimly. They were smart. That cave had not been seen by a human and if it was, it was incredibly difficult to get to it. Not to mention that if you slipped, it was certain death. He sighed and suddenly, he decided he wanted to see them. Not out of curiosity, but boredom. He had roamed the city streets and beaches all his life.
He knew this place like the back of his hand. He had even stayed in the cave once. But he had left after a particular nasty storm had flown in and left him unable to leave and find sufficient food. He sighed and he began walking towards the cave, his paws teps leaving wolf like tracks behind him.

"I actually didn't mean to destroy it," She leant forwards to pick up one of the hot dogs, devouring it quickly. She sighed, looking back at the rocks as she sat down, picking up another of the hot dogs and chewing it more slowly this time, thinking. She looked at Gamble, nodding. "I think it would be good if we had a place to call base. We could make it nice and cosy if we tried, I guess..." She smiled, all this talk of having a place to call their own was really exciting. "Why wouldn't they like you?" She asked, standing up and stretching. Jess yawned, and then looked back down at the few remaining morsels of food. "We should take these, as a snack for later,"
She followed his gaze back to the dogs, wondering whether that was their home. It didn't look to be very comfortable, and she guessed it would be cold as it was so close to the sea. Turning away, she looked up, hearing the faint voices of humans, "We should go, before anyone finds us!" She quickly picked up a few of the hot dogs in her mouth and padded forwards a few steps. Then she waited, knowing that Gamble needed to lead the way.
