Pigeoncloud followed the deputy out of camp, and when the tom said he was in charge, he blinked. "Okay, we can try near the stream at the border." He said, turning in that direction. He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

Hollyheart blinked around camp as she followed Pinetail. Her eyes rested on Robinpaw for a moment, and she glanced between him and Lilacpaw, before looking away. There were more important things to be doing. "I wish it were easier to talk to Starclan." She murmured, waving her tail as she entered the Medicine cat den. She was mostly talking to herself, but Pinetail could probably relate.

Pepperstrike jumped when Oakheart spoke, and he looked up, guilt flashing in his eyes. He'd been caught up in his thoughts, and they weren't thoughts of a loyal warrior. Placing the prey he'd caught on the pile, Pepperstrike tried to smile, hoping his nerves weren't showing. "Hey Oakheart. I'm alright, for such a cold morning. The forest is quiet, but the prey still runs." He said, glancing at his catches. Pepperstrike knew he should have told Oakheart about Ayki the moment the conversation started, but he didn't dare. He only prayed the tom wouldn't notice the way he dug his claws into the ground, nervousness radiating from him.

Amberheart circled around the bush, narrowing her eyes at the white creature through the leaves. She didn't know of any animals that would be white, unless rabbits had already started to change their coats, so it might be a cat. Though the only clanmate she could smell was Hawkscar.

All the preys will die for old age before we go anywhere" he meowed to his fellow clanmates. He then shaked his head lightly as Hazelstrike thought bout going to fish, which was not very wice with so large group, but at last there was much more prey to catch near the river.

As a deputy could be higtest rank than warrior so she thought leading a patrol could be his job, but now Pigeoncloud was saying where to go. Flicking her tail she didn't say anything about it thought, just walked silently behing the older cats.

She watched the two cats for a moment of silent, staying still as she didn't want to wake their attention for her, but soo it seemed that they was walking to her way 'uh? did they saw me?' she thought when the two was around the bush she was on, it was a good hidding place, but the other side of it was wide open. If they walked to there they could easelly see her, so she was betting nervous and little afraid, the two cats didn't look like a bad cats, but they could still be.

the tom pushed on just barely behind pigeoncloud, still feeling heated by letting the warrior take lead. though he wasn't going to turn around, he almost guessed all eyes were on him in judgement especially from his own apprentice. just as they reached where he wished to go he stopped, "where going to stick around this area, from the tree line to the stream," taking a second for them to take it in he continued "ill be splitting off with petalpaw to see how she does. you two stay together, and whichever way you go we will go the opposite way." he kept his voice low, careful not to scare anything. waiting for them to leave he turned to petalpaw, "as soon as they leave i expect you to find something on your own."

as the two were seemingly indecisive on whether to stop lakota, shockingly enough, took initiative to pause and look for a nice place to lay. while taking a moment to do so she took in minkpelt's embrace to leap around to stay warm, it brought a smile upon her face and allowed for a giggle to escape her maw. "it is quite nice to have a big coat," she pressed on, "i wish i could lend you some but im not sure that's possible. the best i can do is wrap myself around you." the last sentence caused her to blush, so she turned and swayed over to a conventionally placed hollow tree. standing outside it she looked to see if minkpelt followed, and she had. "bettlepaw is surely capable of taking care of himself, plus most of the furballs we have to worry about are out sleeping..."

since the molly was planning on going hunting herself she found it as an opportunity to stretch her legs in the day, hopefully bouldersky nor whitestar would stop her before. once she started leaving the den littlesprout took no time to follow just a tail length behind her. though she was less careful white making no sound when leaving she still managed to make her way out, quickening her pace to get to the kill pile she grabbed two frail mice. there wouldn't be enough on one to fill both of them, but since they were to hunt they would likely be bringing back something with more to it. trotting back to snowthorn she placed one in front of her before backing up and setting down her own. "where were you thinking of going to hunt?" the way she worded her question let her know that littlesprout was more than down to go out.

"dont get your fur in a twist if we dont!" the tom called over his shoulder while trotting over to hyacinthsight. when approaching her he embraced her in a nuzzle while a purr rumbled his throat like no tomorrow. "good morning my love," he pulled away and met her eyes, at this point the molly probably knew about his attraction to males just from how he acted. for he acted very flamboyant and as if hyacinthsight was not his mate but his best friend. "if you fancy a bite may i offer what me and my apprentice have left?" his head was slightly cocked to the side and his ears flickered. he looked just like his apprentice would if he was asked to head out for a hunt alone, curious and anxious. "while you grab a bite we can also discuss some plans for today, i'm sure you're itching to leave camp just as much at lilacpaw, foxpaw and i are."

after stretching his muscles he emerged out from the warriors den in pursuit of his apprentice. luckily for the rebellious furball it was a fortunate day for him as today apricotleap was to take him for battle training. hopefully with a few other mentors and apprentices for he wouldn't like to not have the chance of watching to see what to correct. though no one came to his mind, yet at least for more were out hunting. stoked to see his apprentice emerging as he was from the dens they headed straight towards each other, apricotleap picking up a scranny vole on the way over. "here, eat" escaped his mouth after he set the deceased vole in front of the maine coon. "you need to eat before we head out today." he kept his sentences short and stern so ashpaw would listen, but he lightened his next sentence "you'll like what we're doing today but you won't know till we get there." he planned to show up at the battle ground, hope ashpaw realized what was to happen, then start without a warning. practice for a surprise attack.

Ashpaw saw his mentor rush towards him excitedly with a vole in his jaws. Huh, wonder what we're doing today..... The tabby apprentice gobbled down the scrawny vole as Apricotleap explained what they were going to do today. He didn't explain very much. Ashpaw looked up at his mentor, mildly confused. "Uhhhh..... Okay?" he mewed with his mouth still full. "Well then let's go!" He swallowed the last mouthful and dashed to the entrance of the camp, then paused for his mentor to take the lead. as they approached the river, adderpaw glanced at his mentor. "does that look like a good spot?" he said quietly, nodding in the direction of a spot that looked decent enough. he had to admit that some practice at fishing would do him some good. it seemed to be an important skill for cats in his clan, plus it seemed like a good time killer away from camp.

Whitestar smiled and said, "Gotcha!" She sat down for a moment, the grass around her pressing against her sides. "I heard some crunching of the grass, it sounded like you were jumping," she spoke, "so I went to the source and followed your scent trail." Now that they had tried it out, Whitestar could start informing her of tips and tricks. "No sharp movements, only smooth and long ones. Sharp and fast movements will make much more noise," she said, demonstrating by hitting the grass quickly with her paw then slowly moving her paw through the grass the second time, "Try and walk around for a moment, making as little noise as possible."

Jaggedbreeze nodded and took a look at Pigeoncloud, before beginning to head in her chosen direction, more towards the treeline. She hadn't sensed any prey yet, which worried her. Not even stale scents were along the ground. Jaggedbreeze eventually reached her chosen destination and looked around.

Owleyes watched Hollyheart get up and said to her, "Yeah, you better do that before grumpy ol' Pinetail claws out your ears." He watched her leave camp and he sighed to himself. He didn't like being alone and silent. Owleyes licked his paw and drew it over his ear, flattening down some fur ruffled from sleep.

Beetlepaw almost fell asleep looking at the trees. It was all so soothing to him, he thoroughly enjoyed it. The clan may notice I'm gone soon. I should start heading back. Beetlepaw safely made his way down the tree, jumping branch to branch. Upon jumping on a thinner branch, his hind leg slipped because of the snow and he lost his balance for a moment. Beetlepaw quickly dug his claws into the tree, steadying himself. Oh Starclan, that was too close. If he had fallen from that height, he'd probably end up like Jaggedbreeze. She had been fighting off a hawk with a group, and it used its talons to throw her off the tree. She plummeted to the ground and hit a branch on the way down, which broke her jaw. She looks kinda freaky now, her face is all mangled and scarred and drool drips from her mouth all the time. I feel bad for her. Beetlepaw eventually made his way down to the ground and looked at the direction he came from. He started heading back, but then a thought rushed through his mind. I need to catch prey! The clan will be made at me if I don't have a cover story. he began sniffing around and listening for noises, but he couldn't hear or smell anything but the stale scent of fox.

Hazestrike looked over his shoulder to see the rest of the patrol splitting off away from him to fish at other parts of the river. He contently nodded and stared back down at the water. A couple minnows. He thought to himself as he stared at a small group of minnows swim by. Minnows aren't even half a meal for a kit. That thought got him thinking. Maybe I could take out some older kits when a cat has them, and teach them to fish for minnows. See who can catch a minnow first. He started drifting away in his thoughts, and quickly shook his head to clear the thoughts. Hazestrike looked back into the water, looking for fish once again.

The blue-grey furred queen sighed as she looked out into the camp clearing from the nursery entrance. Being the only queen was getting really lonely, and her kittypet background wasn't really helping her gain any friends. Mintyflower was a previous kittypet who was abandoned by her owners once they figured out she was pregnant. In desperation, she tried to find the cats who she heard so many stories about. Wandering in the wilderness, the queen grew too tired to go on and collapsed, but was found by the warriors of Reedclan and was brought back into camp. The memory of waking up in the medicine cat den is forever burned in the she-cats mind, and from that moment on she lived with the clan cats. She still was not fully used to all the strange customs and routines of her clanmates, but she tried her best to fit in. Taking one last look into the clearing, the queen attempted to curl into a ball but her heavily pregnant belly wouldn't exactly work with her. Eventually, she just gave up and, despite her awkward laying position, the she cat grew very tired and drifted into a light sleep.

"Who are you and what are you doing on clan territory? Do you realize that you are tresspassing?"

She looked at the water, seeing flashes of silver dart under the surface. "Berrypaw make sure your shadow doesn't fall over the water. It will alert the fish and scare them away," she said softly as she passed by him. She figured she could try to find some land prey near the water. The fish would most likely go into hiding if they all tried to fish at the same time.
