Nettlepaw'a ears raised when he felt something in the air, his fur on his shoulders bristling, he sensed the slightest bit of danger in the air, his eyes widening slightly "What's that?" he meowed, he rose to his paws and looked over to Mintstar, looking to see if she had noticed it as well.

she ran into the center of camp and yelled, '' we're experiencing a typhoon! we need to evacuate camp and get to higher ground now! '' mintstar was terrified for her clan-mates, and she suddenly ran to the nursery. she grabbed smokekit by the scruff and led her clan-mates out of camp.

his whiskers twitched with amusement before he felt wet. he looked down to see water slowly rising, and he yelled to jaypaw. '' we need to find our clan-mates! the forest is flooding! '' his eyes were wide with fear, and he hoped they could somehow find mintstar and everyone else.

The tom raced after Mintstar and the others, his muscles heaving with every pounding step he took, feeling his paws dig into the earth below.

Beepaw

Beepaw's eyes followed her paw as it moved down along her face. Nessa was barely touching her so it caused her fur to tingle a little bit, and her tail tip twitched, less in agitation and more in excitement. "Will they be back soon? I'd love to meet them." Beepaw spoke up vibrantly, then retreated inwardly. "Unless they don't take too kindly to strangers, I just want to help. Especially Falcon, he deserves it." Beepaw mewed, looking out of the den she could not see Falcon but his burnt scent still lingered a little bit and it was comforting in this unfamiliar place, as strange as it seemed.

Beepaw felt a dampness wash over her, discomfort stretching into every limb of her body and she felt her body shiver, panic overtaking her. "Nessa, something isn't right" Beepaw mewed softly. The two cats were already on high ground, as well as Falcon, she assumed they would be safe but it didn't stop the feeling of dread.

Weaselfang

The tom felt a sense of dread wash over him. The wide-eyed tom looked around a bit friskily, his body growing tense.
At Mintstar's announcement he shook his head at Marbledream. "It'll have to wa--" He was cut short as his thoughts overtook him. "Where's Cloudkit?" Weaselfang mewed, his eyes lifting to spot the tabby multi-colored kitten a small distance, she was rather spacey, absent of what was happening and Weaselfang darted over to her, grasping her nape firmly. He looked over to Marbledream and gave a small nod in her direction, he muffled around Cloudkit's fur that they should move now, he would help Mintstar once the kit was to safety at least. Mintstar would need help with organization once the camp flooded completely. He watched Ghosteyes leave the Elder's den and felt relief, cold water now covered the top of his paws and he looked down for a moment before darting out.

Bearface

Bearface lifted her head away from Tideclaw at Mintstar's announcement. She left the warrior's den, running down to the nursery where her old mate was picking up one of their kits in his jowls while two of the queens picked up two of the others. Bearface lifted Yarrowkit, taking him into her mouth firmly, protectively, her whole fur feeling like it was on fire with the fear she was experiencing now. Bearface watched as her old mate left the camp, running off towards higher ground and Bearface began to follow up to the higher ground, her paws pounding while the large kit hung in her mouth, he complained about his mother in a terrified way and Bearface felt worry that he would not make it if she didn't get to higher ground sooner.

She flattened her ears in panic. "W-Weaselfang, what's happening?!" She had never heard of a typhoon nor experienced one, but she knew this obviously was something to be afraid of. She ran over to the deputy and her kit, getting next to him as they ran. She was terrified to say the least, her fur standing up in all directions.

paleheart felt her stomach sink as she felt damp hitting her pelt, "lionblaze we need to get to higher ground immediately!" she yowled at him and flicked her tail as she dashed towards camp to where there was high ground already located by the clan. she had experienced a typhoon when she was an apprentice and she only knew of one place they could go. the question was would they make it in time? she glanced behind her making sure lionblaze was right on her paws.

rowanfur was about to give an answer to amberpaw when he heard mintstar's warning, he looked at her, "get to high ground immediately!" the warrior pushed the apprentice towards everyone that was evacuating camp. he rushed into the apprentices den and pushed out every sleeping apprentice he could.

asterpaw was quickly awoken by rowanfur and pushed out of the apprentice den, her vision was blurry and he mind was jumbled. she could only make out fast moving pelts but she blinding followed her clan mates. her paws moving on pure instinct alone.

bramblepaw sensed the turning of the weather and his eyes widened as the sky went grey, "we need to get back to camp quickly!" he meowed to briarpaw dropping the fish and letting it swim, but before the young apprentice could get out of the shallow water a large wave came rushing down and took him under. down the stream he went moving fast towards the ocean, the apprentice kicked and yowled tried to get a grip and swim correctly but the current kept dragging him under the water. his body hitting boulders and rocks, he gasped for air but all he got was a mouth full water. he felt himself drowning but struggled with everything he had in him. though he didn't make it as his body was washed out to sea.

rainwhisker waiting behind searching for any cat that needed assistance getting out of camp. she noticed cats clearing from the dens, seeing ghosteye she assumed sloejaw had already left the den, she soon set after her clanmates following behind them all making sure none lost their footing. she ran along side weaselfang and marbelstream as they seemed to be the last out of camp.

sloejaw had not awoken from his deep slumber as his clan mates rushed out of camp, he laid curled up in a tight ball in his nest not feeling his pelt getting damper by the second. he dreamt of his younger warrior days where he fought and hunted along side his clan mates who have all reached starclan, oh how he wished to see them. it wouldn't be long now.

Reaching camp, she darted inside, her eyes widened in horror at the water in camp. She raced to the Medicine den to see it flooded, herbs floating everywhere. "No.." she said her dreams were being crushed slowly.

Weaselfang

Weaselfang glanced over at Marbledream but said nothing. It was his duty to keep his clanmates safe after all, starting with the youngest. Weaselfang moved quickly with Cloudkit in his jaws and eventually reached the high ground where all the cats would meet. He set down Cloudkit, panting heavily, loudly, looking around with his icey gaze at the cats that would come up there.
Less cats were here now than had been in camp, he felt his heart sink immediately. They'll come. He told himself.

Bearface

The she-cat raced with Yarrowkit in her jaws. He had spoke so boldly of how he wanted to be an apprentice, he could do it, but now in the position where she carried him in her jaws like when he was first born, he appeared nothing more to her than a tiny mewling kitten who sought milk and warmth and safety. All which she could not provide him at the moment. Her paws were wet and she slipped on mud, causing both her and Yarrowkit to become smeared with it, she tripped over a root, her paw catching under it and she dropped Yarrowkit who cried out, she quickly scooped him back up from out of the mud and continued up the slope.

'' we need to get to higher ground! '' he yelled. he ran towards the only safe place for typhoons, the rocky hill.
the rocky hill was a big hill, where flooding hardly ever happened. the only problem was mudslides happen all the time on the rocky hill.
the rain was hard on his face, and the wind was strong. he didn't know if they would make it in time.



mintstar.

she ran to the rocky hill, panting. suddenly, she heard the rocks shift. '' everyone! get out of the way, I think a mudslide is coming! '' she yelled. she looked around to see silverpaw standing by the hill, her eyes wide with terror. mintstar followed her gaze and saw a mudslide was forming down the mountain. mintstar immediately ran towards the apprentice, standing above her. then darkness corrupted her.
she opened her eyes to see her mother gazing above her. '' you have lost a life. '' she whispered. mintstar waited for her body to recover before she joined the living world once more.
'' ow.. '' she mewed, her body hurting. when she looked down she saw she wasn't hurt at all, the only pain was knowing her clan-mate was almost killed. she looked at silverpaw, amazed to see she only had torn pads.

She ran to Cloudkit, licking her in panic. Looking around, she spotted Bearface and Yarrowkit, feeling her heart lurch in the hope that they and everybody else would be okay. She yelped as dirt turned to mud beneath her paws, which soon gave way, the mud rolling the now mud-covered she-cat, making her tumble down the slope, feeling her hind paws splash into unexpected water, the contact making her freeze, her mind going blank with panic and confusion as she clung to the few spots of rock and dry dirt there was.
