Sagewhisker exited the camp behind Breezefrost, Hawkfire went off after twitching his nose, assuming he had went to go find prey that he had scented. Sagewhisker bunched his muscles, rolling them forward. Sniffing the air. "Seems like there's prey out here." He commented to Breezefrost, flicking an ear and pacing towards brush slowly where he had a strong scent. His body grew lower and lower to the ground and his eyes darted looking under the brush where he saw a mouse moving. He drew closer, a paws length away, his paw stretched out quickly, snatching the mouse by its spine and crushing it underneath his paw. Drawing it out from underneath the brush.


Pebblestream

Pebblestream watched Reedjaw pace forward, muscles bunched. His body was sleek and firmly poised, even when he was hunting.
Reedjaw suddenly lashed out towards the rabbit whose black eyes grew wide, Pebblestream had only been paces behind him at this point and the she-cat lashed out towards the rabbit's neck, sinking her teeth in and snapping the creature's neck. Blood seeped out onto the fur of the animal in small dots where she had bit. "Good catch." Pebblestream mewed to him, pulling her front paws out of the stream. Half the rabbit was wet now from lurching out at it and the warm creature laid on the ground dead.

Vulturestar looked at the young, bright-eyed apprentice. Honeypaw spoke with a bumble that he had seen many apprentices before her speak with. Though right now she spoke almost meekly, her voice silent, and Vulturestar's gaze observant. "Thank you, Honeypaw, would you like to share it?" Vulturestar mewed, once she had placed it down he had taken a bite from it and then pushed it back over to her, offering it back to her. Honeypaw was an enjoyable apprentice much like Applepaw was, he almost wished he would have trained the two both together. He had trained around ten apprentices, four times the apprentices had been in a pair of two. Often challenging him. Though he always did this challenge to himself since the previous leader started it. Perhaps he sought another apprentice as Applepaw grew older, though he wanted to devote his attention to Applepaw currently when he could "How has your training been going?" He asked the young she-cat.

Applepaw enjoyed the pleasant sound of the birds chirping in the distance as well as the bubbling of a nearby stream. The sunlight seeped through the canopy of the trees, showering onto their pelts and making Littlepaw's glow more than ever before. After realizing that her eyes were locked onto him for a few brief moments, she tore her gaze away and glanced over to her right, feeling her cheeks heat up in embarrassment. At least he didn't catch me staring... that would of been weird. she noticed that the a silence hung in the air, and was growing a bit worried. What if this wasn't as enjoyable to him as it was to her? Applepaw was then relieved as he asked her a fairly interesting question, breaking the silence. She had to think about it for a couple of seconds before replying with, "Yeah, he's a great mentor. He's really serious, though, so there doesn't ever seem to be room for joking around. However, I personally believe that's an excellent quality for a mentor, if I do say so myself." she felt like talking about him until the break of dawn the next morning, just if it meant that she could remain by his side... or just not have awkward silence hover around them. Sure, sometimes silence was meant to be peaceful, but to Applepaw it was time wasted where words could be said.

reedjaw sighed and fixed himself, he felt uneasy about putting his paw on the ground and putting weight on it. though he raised his head to the molly, "it couldn't gone much better but it was good that you were there to back me up." he meowed to her and flicked his tail, he placed his paw on the ground after flexing it. he gave a soft grunt as he hobbled forwards awkwardly. "i must've pulled my paw when i leaped forward and got stuck under the root.." he said and hissed under his breath as he put more weight on it trying to set it straight. he didn't want to have to go back to camp to get it checked out and miss out on hunting more with pebblestream.

the small molly flicked her ear at silverpaw's remark and tilted her head slightly up, "that would make sense." she mewed and sat silent for a moment as she waited for whitewater to come back. once he had her ears perked, and she looked from the white warrior to the nursery. she could smell the thick scent of queen's milk coming from whitewater but also smelt a hint of her mentor. her tail waved as she stood up to see jayfrost padding over to them, she greeted her mentor with a dip of her head then turned to whitewater signalling she was ready to go as well.

stonepaw had gone off after a squirrel he had scented when the patrol split up. he was now a few fox lengths off the ground stalking along a branch. his tail swung steadily from side to side as he crept forward, his claws digging into the bark of the acorn tree. he saw he squirrel behind some leaves nibbling feverishly at an acorn, its tail flicked ever so often. stonepaw was getting closer now his mouth watering at the taste of squirrel. he was now right on top of the creature, and just as the squirrel opened the nut stonepaw lashed out and caught it by it's back leg with his claw. he pulled it towards him swiftly and bit it's neck eaily snapping it so it died quickly. the tom stood up tall in the tree with the limp creature in his mouth. he then skillfully scaled his way down the tree, hopping from branch to branch.

hollowcry's ears flicked back towards a hiss she thought it came from cinderfoot at first but then she noticed the molly nudge her and point to a flaming pelt in the grass. her fur fluffed up along her back and she immediately unsheathed her claws. she let out a low growl and stalked at the intruder, hollowcry had no patience for those who disrespect her clan. her tail lashed out behind her as she was now face to face with the red pelted rouge. "what do you think you are doing?" she asked menacingly.

the fluffy apprentice perked her ears at the words of the molly before her, she took a breath. she wasn't sure if her tired muscle's could handle training but she nodded and followed both of them out of camp. her tail waving behind her as she kept pace with the molly. her whiskers twitched at the scent of the forest, she smelled several of her clanmates that had just recently left camp. she turned her face towards brokenlight as she was asked a question, "swimming for sure.." she mewed, her fur made her nervous about swimming as she thought once her pelt got wet the weight of it would drag her under.
