When he arrived back at twoleg place he gently laid down Jeff's now stiff and lifeless body, while he himself began to mourn his death. "It's all my fault. If I wasn't such a coward-" He was cut off as a two leg came outside, grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, and whisked him inside. (Would anyone be willing to make another character for him to interact with? Preferably a kittypet.)

He blinked, and suddenly he was back on the ground, his eyes suddenly blurry. He was still in awe by all the cats he had seen and all the cats that had come up to them. Shaking his head as though to clear it, he stood up, and he followed behind his leader back to camp. He gasped when he saw the two cats, AppleKit and StormWind facing off. "What's going on?" He wondered aloud. He looked at the young kit. "Why is she acting out like that? Wait a minute, is she trying to fight that warrior?" He laughed slightly and admired the kit for being brave and bold enough to do something like that.

Unsure of how to react to her kit she looked down at her worriedly. This was her first kitting and AppleKit was a bit too passionate and aggressive to be a newborn kit. She had a feeling she was a reborn soul... She pulled her kit down to the ground by the scruff of her neck. "APPLEKIT. Enough. You need to rest. You are clearly tired." She tried to soothe the kit, and held her down in her nest with a gentle, but firm paw. She thought to herself, "How did she know about that battle? She wasn't even born yet...Hmmm..."

He doesn't like me? she thought. Well, maybe he does... She continued pondering before her thoughts were interrupted by StormWind and AppleKit. She tried to intervene, but they were heated. Upon seeing Fernpaw she leapt up... and fell down. FernPaw bound over to her. "I'm f-f-fine. I just-t..." She quickly fell quiet noticing StormWind glare defensively at her, a look that clearly told her to stop lying. She hissed right back at AppleKit. "So what? I don't care. I'm no kittypet, but DoeStar's brother was." She spat. Glad that her shoulder felt so much better, and that the kit was no longer riled up, she padded over to the fresh kill pile and chose a squirrel for herself, and on second thought chose a finch instead of a mouse. She brought them over to StormWind, and laughed a little. "Where were we before this mess began?"

She sat up. StarClan was a truly majestic group of honorable cats. Yes, she had chosen the right path as a medicine cat. When they arrived back in camp, the first thing she noticed was two cats yelling, and the second wasn't hollyPelt laying, a large wound on her back bleeding deeply. "HollyPelt!" She gasped. Wondering how this happened, she sprinted over to her. Suddenly she remembered what had happened only a day ago. "HollyPelt, you're going to be ok... Just let me go get some cobwebs, and some poppyseeds." She ran into the den, and collected her supplies. When she returned AppleKits antics had escalated, but she wasn't FernPaws focus. "Here." She padded cobweb on HollyPelt's shoulder, and shook some poppyseeds out for her. "Eat only three of those... unless you want to have a deep sleep." She sat down next to her, hoping she had done it correctly, her mentor was dead, and she had no one to help her anymore. She walked away and tried to help DappleSeed soothe the kit.

He sat on top of high rock. It felt so empty without DoeStar. "I am appointing the new deputy today. DoeStar please help this choice to be correct and allow our new deputy, StormWind to be a loyal, and faithful deputy to our clan." He prayed to StarClan that he had made the right choice.
