Mistfire's tail twitched as he looked around camp, looking for someone to talk to. He spotted his sister talking to Badgerpaw before looking up at Thornstar's den before seeing Quietheart's tail out of the entrance. He sighed before looking back at his mouse and taking a bite "Jeez, I need friends" He chuckled

"That sounds like a nice place to train, though I haven't been there myself" She said with a nod, adusting her posture to look bigger among the much larger cats

The white she-cat shook her head "Yea, That" she looked around the camp for a moment "One day your just a kit, Your brother making fun of your eyes, and next thing you know you and your best friend end up killing him and scaring away your father" She said, addressing her and Badgerpaw in 3rd person to seem dramatic

"Oceanpaw!" Cherrymoon called, her calming voice echoing into the Medicine Cat's Ears as she padded up near the small apprentice. The dark ginger she-cat dropped a vole near her paws "What are you doing out of Camp! Is Brambleleaf taking you on a tour? Because I dont see him!" She said, her mew more stern this time

Sparrowclaw licked his paw and swiped it over his head a few timed. Satisfied he was clean, he stood up and glanced around. Hm camp is pretty empty. He spotted Mistfire eating by himself and decided to approach with a friendly tail wave.

Snowpaw - Female - 11 moons - Location: Apprentice Den - Tag: Flamepaw

Snowpaw purred at his enthusiasm. "I'm kinda nervous now that Smokycloud's deputy honestly. I'm probably going to be a warrior soon if everything goes well but I don't want to make him look bad if I fail my assessment or do something dumb." Snowpaw glanced down and shuffled her front paws around.

Bearpaw - Male - 6 moons - Location: Apprentice Den - Tag: Spottedpaw

Bearpaw grasped the other half in his mouth. "O'ay. Wo', 'oo, th'ee!" he bit down on the amphibian on three hoping that Spottedpaw wouldn't back out. The little frog was mostly bones and organs but wasn't entirely unpleasant. The texture was unusual at first but after the skin it was mostly the same as other prey in his opinion. All in all Bearpaw wouldn't mind eating a larger frog if they all tasted similar.

Quietheart looked up at her leader as she groomed with a thoughtful expression. She looked down and kept grooming although she wasn't sure if Thornstar wanted her to leave or whatnot. She decided she would probably stay until he told her to leave. So the she-cat continued until she finished her quick groom and straightened up. Quietheart wrapped her tail around her paws and gave Thornstar a quick glance before disappearing into thought.

As Brambleleaf wandered deeper into the marsh, his headache got worse. He wasn't sure why, but he also wasn't sure he wanted to find out why. These kinds of things usually did not happen without consequence or reason.

The tom took a bite out of the rabbit, savoring the flavor. "This is a good rabbit," he purred, taking another bite. He could tell Lillyspot seemed to agree by her purring; she was a fun cat.

"Alright, let's go, then," the she-cat chuckled as she stood. Airpaw was a determined apprentice and she did not want to let her down.

He knew he would probably regret this later, but the young tom decided to take a quick nap in his nest--what harm could it do? He was tired from tree-hopping all day; it took more effort than it looked like it did. He padded over to the den and made a beeline for his nest, plopping down in it faster than you could say "Marshclan."

The tom gave Driftmoon a little smile. "Definitely sounds like a crazy story..." he agreed with a tilt of his head. "But I happen to think your brother was wrong in making fun of your eyes. They look beautiful to me," he finally confessed, having worked up the nerves. He hoped he played it cool, but also knew that the chances were he sounded like a rambling idiot.

Spottedpaw bit into the small animal when her friend did, allowing the... interesting flavor to pool into her mouth. At first it seemed like it could be something she would eat on occasion, but the after-taste left her gagging. "That didn't taste too good," she claimed, her tongue poking out of her mouth as though she were trying to air out the bad taste.

Thornstar finished his vole. Licking his muzzle, he brought himself out of the den and looked outside at the cats around camp. He made the patrol in his mind before saying it out loud to Quietheart "You, Me, Spottedpaw, Frostpaw, and Mintblaze. Maybe we can go around marsh to see if the water has risen and check the two-leg paths for any sign of the Newleaf twolegs"

Quietheart gave the tom a quick nod and said "Okay, sounds like a plan. I'll go gather the cats and we will meet you at the entrance of camp." The gray warrior stood to her paws and trotted away in search for the two apprentices and warrior. Quietheart could simply just call out for them in the middle of camp but she wasn't really one to yell. Not to mention they might be busy doing something or sleeping so they might not hear her. The first place she decided to check was in apprentice den for Frostpaw and Spottedpaw.

Thornstar watched Quietheart from his den She would have made a good deputy, but she's too quiet. He thought as he watched her make her way tward the apprentices den. He lept from his den onto the camp ground and going over to the middle of camp to sit down and wait.

Quietheart poked her head into the apprentice's den and to her surprise, Frostpaw and Spottedpaw were in there. "Spottedpaw and Frostpaw, I am sorry to interrupt but Thornstar would like you two to join his patrol. Go find him and wait there while I gather the rest of the patrol." Quietheart explained and gave Bearpaw an apologetic look before leaving the den. Mintblaze could be harder to find since warriors can leave the camp but she had no doubt the she-cat was around somewhere. The she-cat's green gaze searched the camp to see if she could find the warrior before checking the dens.

The new queen purred, as she looked over her three kit's only born a few sunrises ago. The eldest was a tom named Spiderkit, which looked a lot like Silverdusk's sister. The second eldest was a lean calico by the name of Ivykit. The kit looked a lot like Silverdusk's mother, and the youngest was a white tom-kit, named Cloudkit. She smiled, silently wishing her old mate was still alive.

The smoky silver-blue she-cat narrowed her eyes at her young cousin that she was training. "Ashpaw, come here! We have training to go do!" She bolted over to the grey tabby then added," Besides, if we get back quickly, we can spend time with our new cousin's and our aunt." She smiled at the younger tom, and gave him a slight wink.

The creamy-ginger she-cat looked around camp, her amber eyes searching for the grey and white pelt of her mentor. While this was true, the tabby she-cat was wondering about others. She wanted to find some cat to care about, and maybe become mates with that cat. Then maybe latter, once the two are warriors, have kits. She purred softly at the thought, before shaking her head then again beginning to look around.

Quietheart spotted Mintblaze talking to Ashpaw and headed over to the two cats. "Hello Mintblaze, Ashpaw." Quietheart said kindly and have a small nod as she greeted each. Quietheart turned her gaze to Mintblaze and said "Thornstar wants you to go on a patrol with him so when you are done talking, go find him and we can go." She looked at Ashpaw with an apologetic look and drops her voice "I didn't say anything but.... Maybe if you want to join you can ask Thornstar." She gave them both a small smile and padded away. She noticed Thornstar waiting and walked over to the tabby before sitting down next to him.
