Loststrike groomed her pelt, completely oblivious of her clanmates. She didn't really want to do anything, partly because she thought it was boring doing anything for other cats. Loststrike had learned that kindness never gave you anything most of the time but disrespect. She thought of her "friend" from another clan before she had run away. He said he had loved her, but it was not true. He had used her, betrayed her. Loststrike focused her attention on something else instead, something that didn't make her furious. She snorted and padded further into the forest. "Is there anything to do?" Loststrike mewed, her attention focusing on a bird. "Oh birdy, will you leave too? Like my parents and my brother did?" She stared forlornly at the chickadee.

Burnet's eyes widened as she made her way out the tree as fast as possible. She raced towards the fox to join in, but kept a distance as there were enough cats, instead deciding that she would be ready in case some cat was injured or needed to drop out. The small she-cat searched around for the young cat that had fallen, wanting to get her out and to safety.Burnet gave up on waiting to join the fight, deciding to circle round the fight to search for Duskpaw.

The gray and white warrior bared his fangs in a snarl as the order was given to attack. He was startled as it quickly pinned Silverstar, though Skylar quickly helped. He leapt onto its back, digging his claws in, and clawed at its eyes. He managed to sink his claws into its right eye, causing a yelp of pain from the fox. He couldn't let the loner get injured. He could tell something was wrong with her leg. However, as tight as he held on, he was soon knocked off. He was instantly on his paws again, his back arched and hissing furiously.

Stopping as she heard a hiss, Burnet turned around, flicking her tail and running over to the older tom who had been thrown off the fox. "Are you alright?" she asked, keeping one eye on the fight, and one eye, worried, on the cat. Burnet tilted her head to the side out of concern for the other.

Sagemint looked at Burnet and quickly nodded."Im fine."he answered. The fall hadn't done much damage, only knocked the breath out of him."I need to get back into the fight though. You should be careful, maybe leave."

Burnet huffed quietly, flicking her tail, "I'm capable of staying here, just like you are," she replied, pouting, but smiled, "I'm glad you're alright though." The she-cat looked down at her paws, "I should stop distracting you, sorry," she stated, before jumping away to go investigate the fox's den.

Sagemint watched the pretty she-cat walk away. Later he would have to find her and talk to her himself. She hadn't been distracting him. She was just worried about him and the others. He shook his head. He couldn't think of the she-cat right now. He snarled and leapt into battle, clawing the fox's flank.

Burnet looked back to see the (what she assumed to be) warrior had gone, and she smiled, then turned around and sniffed around the entrance to the den. The pale she-cat's tail tip twitched at the smell, but she snuck in silently, careful to not make any noise.

Silverstar quickly gets on her feet as the loner knocks the fox off of her. She slashes claws across the foxes face. Suddenly she hears a yowl, another fox jumps out of the vegetation, completely hidden from the cats. The fox runs for the closet cat to it, which was Hollowstorm. "Hollowstorm!" She catches sight of the fox biting down on Hollowstorms neck, the tom falling to the ground, the life leaving his eyes. "No!" She screeches before running towards to fox, pouncing on its back. She bites down on its neck but it shakes her off, slashing sharp claws across her back, and she yowls in pain. She gets back up, biting its back leg and clawing its eyes, causing it to turn and run. Her back stings, and she can feel blood on her fur. She watches the fox run off, and surely the others had chased off the other fox. Her vision starts to blur, and she stumbles over to Hollowstorm. Please be ok! She leans down, putting her ear to the toms chest. "No!" She mumbles as she hears nothing. Her eyes go black, and she falls on her side.

Daisytail smiles. "Crowfeather it's getting dark, and we've already got good catches, let's just let them swim a little." She meows, before splashing the apprentices with her paw.

Petalpaw smiles "Ok Darksky!" She meows before skipping out of the medicine den. She sees Cindercloud and Flowerkit and runs over to them. "Hi Cindercloud! Hi Flowerkit!" She meows before sitting down and batting a leaf towards Flowerkit.

Pebblepaw nods, listening to Crowfeather. She hears Daisytail and laughs as she splashes them "Yeah Crowfeather! Please!"

(Silverstar isn't going to lose a life, she's just lost consciousness due to blood loss, but the med cats will save her. Since Hollowstorms role player will be leaving, I've role played out his death. The foxes have retreated and abandoned their den.)
