Lily smiles at Bear, barely able to see him due to the nest in her mouth almost blocking him. "Thank you." she mumbled with her mouth full. She follows the cave guard back to the tribe with the nest full of three eggs and the mother bird.

Bear led Lily back up the mountain to the cave. He headed straight to the prey pile once they got back to the cave and dropped the fish onto the pile.

Bee frowned sadly as Mist walked off.


Horizon's eyes glittered with pride as she heard Talon's praise for Bee. "All of my daughters will be excellent at what they do." She boasted, her voice barely audible through the goats' hide.

Sunteller smiled at Mouse before leading her out of her den, crossing the clearing to the prey pile and picking up a small hare. The dark brown, ginger and white tabby padded over to a sunny spot and sat down, waiting for Mouse to join her.

Hiss smiled and nodded. "I forgot that that was happening today." He mewed, turning and leading her back up to the cave. He paused when he noticed Horizon and Fox were hunting on the rocks, watching for a moment with an impressed look before ducking into the cave. Hiss smiled when he saw Sunteller crossing the cave to the prey pile.

Lily follows Bear back to the cave and places the fish, bird, and nest full of three eggs on the fresh-kill pile. "Thanks for being with me Bear." she said, looking at the cave guard.

"It was my pleasure." Bear smiled after he finished setting the fish he was carrying down and turning to her. "If you need help again sometime, don't be afraid to ask."

A soft chuckle of his own escaped him then. Alright, it was obviously time for a change in tactics. He backed off a few steps, crouched slightly, watching and waiting to see if she would act if he didn't. If anything, this really just proved that he likely need to actually train with the other cave-guards at some point, even if he would generally... prefer not to. He was getting a bit too stagnant just training with Thyme apparently. If this was any proof, anyway.

Bear smiled and flicked her nose with his tail. "I'll see you around." He mewed before nipping Lily's ear and bounding over to the group of guards on the other side of the cave.

Moss bounces over to her youngest sister, who was eating a hare with Sunteller. "Hi, Sunteller, Mouse," she nodded to each she cat as she named them. "What job did you get? Are you going to be a Prey-Hunter like Bee, or a Cave-Guard like me?" It did not occur to her that her sister was neither of those.

The fluffy she-cat remained silent as horizon and talon talked about horizon's daughter's accomplishments. This reminded fox that she had no one, no to-be, no family, nothing. Fox continued dragging the goat going slightly faster.
