➳Staring at the white tom, Hailpaw perked her ears as Hawkcry barked orders at her and stalked off without even checking to make sure that she had collected all of his plan. Luckily the tortie was listening and knew exactly what he wanted. Moving swiftly and low to the ground, the apprentice was down wind both of the older felines so he attack would be a surprise, if it was needed at all. After several moments, the apprentice was a few lengths behind the trespasser and Hawkcry had just confronted him. Ears perking again, carefully she listened to what was unfolding in front of her.

I lick my jaws, quite satisfied with my meal. The poor fish didn't have a chance. As I'm licking some blood off my paws, cat scent hits me. I quickly scale a tree, not in the mood to start a fight over prey with another rouge. I look down, seeing two cats walking below me. I perk my ears, listening in on their conversation. "...after all they are rouges and their on our land." Was all I could catch from the two. Our terriotory? Had rouges claimed this area? I shake my head, confused. I decide quickly that I'm not in the mood to fight over this peice of land, and start tree jumping until I'm a good thirty tail lengths away.

Fawnleap stared down the small tom once more. She almost requested that he come with her back to camp before she noticed Mossleap and Graywhisker speaking with a kittypet. Growing slightly suspicious, she led Monkey over to her fellow warriors. "Are you sure you don't know this kittypet?" she questioned, whiskers quivering nervously. "It's rather unlikely for us to have two trespassers in one day." Finchstep rested his tail on his sister's shoulder as he returned with his catches. "What's going on here?"

I watch as the rest of our hunting patrol, as well as the small brown rouge, approach us. "This is Pearly. And I'm thinking, because of that collar around his neck, that he's a Kittypet."I meow, pointing at the collar once again with my tail. I almost pity the small cat I still have pinned. I can see the fear in his different colored eyes. I carefully step off of the cat, taking a seat beside him.

"I sware..." He said. He slowly backed away bristling. "D-don't blame me!" He sat and licked a paw and watched all the cats with narrowed eyes.

The small warrior immediately felt guilty as Monkey's fur rose and his blue eyes narrowed. "Wait, I'm sorry. We're trained to be suspicious of any trespassers," she mewed quickly, trying to make the loner feel more at ease. The kittypet also appeared quite youngs; perhaps the age of an older apprentice. She wasn't leading the patrol, so she didn't have the authority to decide the fates of the two outsiders. Fawnleap looked over at her brother knowing that he would never instruct them to do anything to harm two completely innocent cats whether they were DesertClan members or not.

Finchstep scanned both Pearly and Monkey once over before coming to a conclusion. Both were young and if he sent them both away, it was unlikely that they would survive the arduous journey back out of the desert. They even seemed as if they could both become strong warriors if the right training was provided. "Alright. Let's bring them back to camp and let Scorchstar decide what to do," the tabby mewed at last. "I'm going to have to ask both of you to close your eyes near the end of our trip to avoid compromising the location of our camp if Scorchstar refuses to allow you to stay."

I glance over at the older Tom. Personally I've always hated being bossed around, And the rouges closing their eyes seemed a little extreme to me. I trot to the head of the patrol, my tail high, and my fish now dragging in between my two forepaws. I turn around, waiting for my clanmates to follow.

Ignroing her snapping, Hawkcry meowed, skeptical of this new tom, "I don't know.. Here, I'll confront him from the front, and you come in from the back. That way if he decides to attack us, he'll be taken by surprise."
Not waiting for the tortoishell to answer his orders, he slid across the desert floor, breaking into a trot as he went to catch up with the rogue. The tom was much older than he - nearly elder age - and was striding across the desert with far too much belligerance and confidence.. This irked and concerned Hawkcry as he watched the pearly-white male waltz forward, oblivious to the dark tabby. He knows exactly where he is... yet he isn't even bothered!
With a little hiss, the muscular, hotheaded male broke into a sprint upon nearing the male. Hawkcry leaped above him, and landed before the invader, stopping him from going further. The brawny tabby pulled back his black lips over glistening white teeth, and snarling, he got in the rogue's face and practically spat on him. Every muscle in the dark tabby's body was tensed and ready for a duel - a duel he'd surely win against the old pipsqueak. Hawkcry snarled, "Who are you? We don't like strangers here. Identify yourself!"

The ebony female meowed slowly once Batpaw arrived and began to fling questions at her, "Well.. to my left, Mossleap and Graywhisker are cornering a white rogue.. but he seems to have a collar on his neck. A kittypet, maybe? And then, down by the river in the gorge, Fawnleap and Finchstep are handling a puny, brown kitten." She faced the turquoise-eyed male with her own, wide green eyes. "Should we down anyway? I don't wanna interrupt them.. after all, they are rogues and they are on our land."

Snow heard something running directly behind him- the pearly tom stopped, just in time. A massive blur, hurtling at a decent speed flew over his head. Then suddenly, there was a massive young tom before him, snarling and sending spittle in his face. After a few moments of silence, the pearl tom smiled, his baby blue eyes roving the massive young warrior before him. There was so much he could say. So very much. My, so very muscular. So handsome. Probably popular with the mollies and maybe a few others... But ah, so much muscle hampers more than it helps. It slows his movement, tires him quicker- it's not much better than fat. Besides, he is much too arrogant. I am a loner- clans prefer rogue- and he lunges upon me? Such atrocious manners. Much, much to aggressive. If I wanted to cause trouble, I know how to disguise myself better than this. Besides, everyone always tries to talk and explain things, giving up too much in the process- let's keep it short and sweet today, hmm Snow?

"Greetings to you as well," the pearl tom said in a honeyed voice, lifting his feathery tail and offering a small yet warm smile. So eager to prove himself... but why? I will find out soon enough. "Whom are you? I'd prefer to know before I just spread my identity around," Snow mewed in that honeyed tone casually, never blinking with those baby blue eyes. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Ahh yes, things well go quite wonderful from here on out. There is the smell of a molly on his pelt... I wonder

Batpaw nodded. "Are they together?" the ebony tom questioned, his filmy turquoise eyes narrowing slightly. How did they survive alone? A kit and a kittypet? There arrival must be very recent... something's not right. After a few moments, he sighed softly. "No. Not unless we're called to. If it's a kittypet and a kit like you say, then they have this. There's nothing to worry about. But I'm curious as to how they got here. It's not like their are any twolegplaces nearby..." Batpaw trailed off, flickering his namesake ears in thought. Then, as if remembering what he came from, he gave his head a slight shake. "Let's head downstream- stay close to me. No mischief now, got it?" Batpaw said, focusing his filmy turquoise gaze on the molly beside him. "I'd prefer not to get spotted- I just want to get this over with. We can figure out everything that happened when the patrol when the patrol returns to camp." Flickering his large bat like ears, he then suddenly stiffened. "It appears they'll be going to camp. Do you want to go back?" Batpaw was now looking at Flarepaws now, his whiskers twitching with curiosity. If you do, you can tell me what happens- I need to make sure Dogtail gets those herbs. And if your curious about the rogues, you'll just chatter my ears off and get in the way...
