ooc;; no worries olive, i've disappeared plenty of times tonight...

Stormpaw's ears flicked when she heard Birchpaw's voice reach out to her, "Nothing, I'm fine." She told him. No one really understood how she felt being the runt; even as an apprentice she was babied by her mother and Stormpaw was convinced that she wasn't good enough because of her size, which was usually a reason for her grumpiness.

Ashpaw shook his head at his mentor, "No this is just fine. I'll have plenty of time to do other things!" Excitement still rang throughout his voice as his thoughts shifted to being a warrior after all the training is done.

"Lets do some fighting!" Creekpaw meowed, tail sticking upright. They had only touched on the subject, and Creekpaw, one day, would make a good fighter, or so his father had told him.

Poppypaw climbed her way up one of the oak trees, scenting the numerous squirrels that lived there. She could hear them scrabbling against the bark.

Lightsky nervously nodded and trotted out of camp.

Goldenpelt started to leave camp, and stopped at a spot close to camp. ''Okay, first you'll be tested on how you fight already. I'll go easy on you.'' Goldenpelt meowed, backing up a bit. ''You make the first move.''

Creekpaw nodded. He wanted to try and be clever, even with his limited knowledge. The apprentice jumoed forward as if he was going to take his mentor head on, but just before he reached her he jumped to the left and with sheathed claws hit her.

Poppypaw saw a squirrel on one of the branches. She crept forward and pounced. Thank StarClan the she-cat had balance and grace. Poppypaw quickly killed the squirrel before she climbed down the tree and slunk back to camp. (Open.)

Ashpaw was slow behind Lightsky but he followed closely and excitedly as they left camp. Sure he was more wanting to battle train but yet seeing and familarizing himself with his own territory would be just as fun.
