He moaned and sat up. The sunlight shone through the den and he had to blink open his yellow eyes to adjust. "Coming..." he didn't bother to groom his pelt and instead padded out of the den. "Where are we training at?" he asked Wolfclaw.

Wolfclaw turned towards Rivermist before replying, "Where she wants to." He flicks his tail towards Rivermist. "But we are battle training." He meows.

"And stomach aches, right? With the berries?" He never believed in only two cats knowing how to heal, he wished everyone was mildly trained in herbs in cases of emergencies. Being in such place, he was glad he knew enough to stop bleeding. "Medicine is fascinating, you're lucky to have an apprentice who thinks so too."

"Then lets hurry or Stormpaw will leave us behind." The silver cat seemed eager to get moving with or without them, so he lead the way over trying not to stay too far ahead of his apprentice. The last thing he wanted was to discourage Stonepaw to be a warrior. "We're ready to go!" He calls to Dogtooth.

"About time you two showed up, I thought I'd be in the elders den before we got to hunting." Mildly amused his mentor had not been able to respond to his comment, but still tried to keep his sharp tongue from stabbing at Stonepaw's soft spots. The taller Thunderhaze gave him a stiff look, but Stormpaw only shrugged and started skipping towards the entrance.

Dogteeth let out a long sigh, "Sorry 'bout him," She muttered as she walked past Thunderhaze to follow "He's got a mouth on him." She added with a chuckle, to lighten to mood at least.

He shakes his head with a light smile. "No need to apologize, apprentices are always packed with energy; too much for their own good if you ask me. The sooner we're out, they'll calm down a bit." He mews, trotting after Stormpaw who was mumbling and practically out of camp. He was too old to be lingering on the said things of younger cats.

He smiled as his mentor then back at stormpaw. Stone paw looked at the path Infront of them, he spoke softly,"You guys don't have to walk slow for me. I can speed up." He always pushed himself farther then his limits, he would be a warrior just like them, no matter his disadvantage.

She mewed lightly at the cats around her, but her eyes seemed to be else where, looking for Cloudpaw. Her mother would not approve of this. She knew that but she didn't think much of it, They were just friends, right? She hoped for more.. But the future is unseen. Silverpaw sat down beside the fresh kill like and was stuck in her own world, Daydreaming at the most.

Patchfoot smiled at Blacksky, She wished for things that could never be true. Her eyes were full of compassion, not just because of the feelings shy had for the tom, but because of her interest in medicine and healing. She spoke proudly,"That's correct. I can teach you about some others, sometime..If you'd like. And as for the apprentice, I'm surprised a cat could be so fond of me." She laughed about at the words she spoke. She could hardly believe cats liked being around her.

Be bit the need to day 'Then pick up the pace' to the smaller apprentice, Thunderhaze would likely chew him to bits if he insulted Stonepaw. "I'm not going slow, their just too old for a good race." His tone confident, not sure how old one had to be in order for their speed to drop from their creeky joints.

"I don't really need to learn them anymore, honestly... I started to learn because of the kits I was expecting to be born but it never happened. It's good knowledge and the offer is appreciated, but I lack motivation now." He avoided eye contact when speaking, trying to keep a straight face through the disappointment that stained his memories. Over the few moons he'd tried to shrug it off as a bad dream.

She looked down as they walked, her feelings of compassion flew away.. Her voice was cold and shaky as he spoke, she knew that nothing could compare to that. "I'm sorry.." Her voice trailed off.. She had lived a rough life but nothing as bad as that. She shifted her eyes to the path ahead, her tail was down to the ground.

He smirked at what storm paw and said,"They aren't slow or really old. They just probably wanted to slow down for me." His eyes shifted away as he spoke those words.

He sighs a bit, shaking his head. "No need to be sorry, it wasn't your fault or really anyones. Besides, she wouldn't want anyone to be sad about it or blame themselves. Just like I don't want anyone to be sad at my passing, we celebrate life were I come from, not mourn the loss." Clan costumes were still strange to him, they didn't feast and laugh with friends over memories when a cat died. They just sat around feeling sorry, that wouldn't make anyone feel better.

He shrugs, trying to be more productive than snooty. "Self doubt only makes it easier for others to find soft spots, just be confident and say they're taking their sweet time. Warriors always do." Perhaps practicing these silly positive comments would impove his chances of making actual friends, maybe a nice she-cat someday...
