Owlstar sighed again. He knew Jaggedfur could be very persuasive sometimes. "Alright, I give up." He confessed. "I'm just having trouble deciding who would be-" He was cut off by a nudge, and glanced down at an eager-looking Graypaw. He managed a smile. "Hello, Graypaw." He greeted the apprentice. "You're looking happy today." He commented.

JaggedFur nodded OwlStar spoke but stopped as he was cut off. He looked at the apprentice in disgust. He hated hyper and annoying apprentice that cut into a conversation. He mumbled, turning away. "He said he was have trouble deciding who would be....deputy!" JaggedFur thought. They had been without a deputy for quite a while.

Wildpaw|feeling hyped|hunting with close watch by Icewhisker

Wildpaw smirked at the challenge, "I'm ready for anything." She mewed with determination. Running through the undergrowth she halted to evaluate the hunting grounds as she scanned the clearing. Occasionally looking back at Icewhisker to see her expressions. Soon she spotted a mouse a few tail lengths from her nibbling at the tree roots. Instantly dropping into a steady hunters crouch she slowly creeped forward. When she felt she was in pouncing range she leapt right onto the mouse and crunched at the neck to kill it.

JaggedFur whipped around. "What did you say?" He asked. "I'm surprised your an apprentice when you act like a kit!" He growled. (JaggedFur would be an....interesting deputy XD)

"One down, one more to go. You can do this, Wildpaw!" Icewhisker whispered from up high in the tree. Spotting a squirrel on one of the branches, Icewhisker leapt on it, her paw suffocating the squirrel. Ending it's life with a bite to the neck, Icewhisker continued to observe the apprentice.

Owlstar threw a stern look at both of the quarreling cats. "Stop acting like squabbling kits." He ordered. "We don't want rivalry in the clan." The mottled tom flicked his tail, signalling the cats to quiet down.
