[[ Wow, lots of people! Maybe I should make some appretice ranks... I'll still have to contemplate on what Death should look like. I do love the mutant-one (his name, as my character, is Senfgas); but I'm not sure how well he'd fit. Maybe I should just have him be a special monster instead. ANYWAY; there's still a little while before I have to make up my mind...

Ayet stopped next to August and Rain, and glanced over at the dead puma, black blood drying in it's fur. "Right... Haru!" He barked, looking for the young healer. He hoped the wolf would be able to help them, and soon. This wolf looked like he could use a healer's touch. Meanwhile, he decided to check over the wolf's body, to see how badly he was hurt. He could see a few deep cuts, were blood was still oozing from.

"I'm here!" Haru panted, dropping his herbs and breathing hard from running to keep up with Ayet. His eyes widened as he noticed a strange wolf with August. "Wh-Who's this?" he hoped this wasn't the wolf he had to treat. What if it bit him because the herbs stung? Or what if he was infested with parasites. Oh no! Haru groaned to himself in his head.

Myst padded up to the water. He lapped up the cool liquid, quenching his thirst. "Mmm." he sighed, flopping down and licking at a small thorn stuck in his paw. He yanked it out with his teeth and spat it into the water. "I hope the others are okay..." he murmured, looking up at the shining moon.

August grunted in the most feminine way possible as she gently set Rain down. "I don't know who he is, but he was being attacked by a mountain lion. He was limping even before," The she-wolf said as much as she needed to befoore plopping down, waiting for Haru to deal with the newcomer before examining her. She glanced over at Ayet, wondering why he'd leave the rest of the pack.

Timid Dart gasped in sheer horror. Her eyes widened and she sunk down to the ground. Covering her eyes with her paws, the she-wolf almost burst in to screams at the sight of blood. Shuddering, Dart peered out at Ayet. He was going to deal with everything. She tried to convince herself of that, but it was harder than it seemed. Slowly rising, she shook out her fur and continued to stare at the creature.

Snowdrift trotted up to the lake and lapped down a few gulps of the cold and refreshing water. It tasted wrong but it soothed her dry throat. Being her solitary self she walked over to the other side of the clearing. She gathered some small leaves and pushed them to where she would sleep. Snowdrift shapped the leaves into a circle and layed down in them. They crinkled and made crunching sounds as she layed. But she didn't care,she looked over at the other wolves, "goodnight...guys" she mumbled to them and layed her head down in her paws.

"Uh... Okay..." Haru shifted nervously and approached the strange wolf. He sniffed at the wounds, circling around Rain. "He should be fine..." Haru murmured as he began to chew up daisy petals and wild mint. He slathered the poultice on the wounds, which would probably cause a stinging, yet cooling sensation. After he had stuffed cobwebs into the wounds, he lowered his muzzle to Rain's peering at the strange wolf. "Probably just needs rest and food now." Haru said, straightening up and going to look at August.

Ayet, who had realized by now that the wolf before him would not be able to have a quick fix, paced back and forth. What should he do with him? Could he support an injured wolf? But he couldn't just leave him here, at the mercy of Death. Death! He snapped his head up at the sky, glaring at it's darkness. Was the cruel god testing him? Snorting, he turned his attention down to the wolf as he lay on the ground. "He won't make it through the night; he stinks of blood. Any Demon near here will smell it, and attack." He sighed, and nudged the wolf with his nose. "Sir, can you walk? There should be a safe clearing not far from here, where the rest of my pack is. Can you walk to it?" Ayet hoped he wouldn't need to carry the wolf, but he was not about to leave one of his own kind defenseless out here. He would not be able to face the Sun with that burden on his shoulders.

Rain kept his eyes closed whist Haru was treating his wounds. He felt a sting on his wounds and almost lashed out at whatever it was. He felt breathing on his muzzle and peered at what it was only to see another wolf looking right back at him. "Thanks." Rain managed to say. He closed his eyes again but his senses were still sharp and alert. "He stinks of blood... some wolf said. "Well I'm sorry if I smell." He muttered. Something paced in front of him and then nudged him. "Sir? Can you walk?...Rain opened his eyes again and flexed his muscles. "I think so..." he rolled onto his stomach and groaned. He HURT. Rain sucked up the pain and slowly stood up wobbling a little. He was careful not to put his injured front paw on the ground and looked at the wolf next to him. Rain immidietly recognized him as an alpha and lowered his head in respect. "Now I hope this camp isn't far..." He started to limp slowly.

"Wait!" Haru shouted, bounding in front of the injured wolf, but quickly realizing his mistake. "Uh..." he lowered his ears and tail in respect and looked up at the much larger wolf. "H-Hi..." he said, shivering a little, "I hadn't noticed your injured paw before and I have some herbs that can take some of the-the..." he gulped, "pain away." he finished.

Cloudburst sat by the lake, slowly drinking the funny tasting water. She couldn't let herself relax until the others got there. Maybe I should go after them so they don't get lost on the way here... But, not wanting to leave the rest of the pack, she settled to pacing in circles by the water and waited for everyone to come back.

Brillo had too much energy to sleep, so stared deep into the water's edge, trying to figure out if it was safe to swim in or not. He wondered absently if there were fish and in the same thought, when everyone else was getting back. He was tired, but he didn't want to miss any excitement, so he stayed up and looked around for someone to talk to.
