"Alright," Goldenpaw meowed. She had wanted desperately to say she wasn't tired, but she didn't want to sound like a kit arguing with her mother. She was tired, but a warrior is supposed to be strong and let nothing get in their way of protecting their clan. She followed Robinstar the rest of the way, then padded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a vole. She headed over to the apprentices' den, the smell of the prey making her mouth water.

Sablefur nodded, but said nothing. She was still quite angry. Her clan wouldn't be treated like this, couldn't be! She struggled to calm herself down on the way back to camp. Once Goldenpaw had left, she mewed quietly to Robinstar, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so angry. Those Sunclan cats just make me so angry!"

"You were doing your best to protect your clan, I can hardly blame you. But sometimes you have to consider, that lashing out with anger isn't always the best way to do that. I expect all my warriors to fight when the time for fighting comes, but I am not going to have any of them injured or killed in battle unless there is no other choice. Not every cat understands this, but those who do are always the most loyal of warriors." Robinstar said quietly as he padded into camp. Though Sablefur was already a full warrior, and certainly loyal and strongwilled to do the right thing, it didn't mean that she knew everything. For Starclan's sake, Robinstar was the leader, and he learned something new from his clan every day! He grabbed a mouse from the freshkill pile and went into his den to eat, wanting to think before the apprentices' battle practice later.
