Foxtail purred loudly, rolling on his back to allow the light to bask on his belly fur. Hey always enjoyed the sun on his pelt during his relaxation times. Which were rare.
He leaned forward to groom his chest fur roughly for a moment, displeased by the burr caught there.

Thorntail purred louder and nuzzled each of his kits in turn. "What are we going to name them?" He lifted his head and licked Russetleap's muzzle.

"I don't like being the mouse! It hurts my paws!" Ashkit whined playfully, running around like a stupid mouse.

Just got Thorntail admiring his new kits and Ashkit playing with Flame kit =3 Oh, and Pebblekit is asleep XD)

Russetleap continued to purr, her gaze loving as she beckoned Thorntail closer. "I'm not sure," She mewed softly, gazing at the closest female kit, a small silver bundle. "What do you think?"

Flamekit squeaked excitedly, bounding playfully after her, "Too bad!" He replied tauntingly, mocking her tone, "I was the mouse last time!"

Thorntail scooted closer to his kits, sniffing the gray furball. "She smells so sweet, and shes fluffy. How about Cludkit?"

Ashit pouted in a teasing way, then bounded into the nursery by accident. She almost ran into Ruswetleap, but she stopped herself and grinned. "Sorry miss! I was playing with Flamekit and just bounced in here." She noticed little fluffs of fur and smiled. "New kits?" she asked excitedly.

Russetleap purred, pressing herself into her mates soft pelt. "Cloudkit is perfect," She mewed softly, gently nudging rather large tom next to her. Just like us... She thought, referring to herself and brothers, and Spottedkit... The black and white body lay close to her stomach, suckling eagerly. The tom-kit let out a soft, high pitched squeak, and turned his head up to face his mother in protest of being touched. His eyes opened to thin slits, revealing two magnificent, bright blue eyes. "Wrenkit," She whispered softly, "His pelt is as soft as a Wren's feathers, and eyes as pure blue." Engulfed in an unfaltering love for the new arrivals, Russetleap hadn't noticed Ashkit until she had spoken. "It's ok," She whispered, trying not to disturb the kits any more than she already had. The queen couldn't help but let out an amused purr at the sound of Ashkit's excitement. "Yes," She replied smiling, looking over at her, "But they wont be able to play for a while."

Thorntail nodded in agreement at the names and nuzzled her neck lovingly before looking at Ashkit and smiling.

"I know they can't play, but its exciting to see the Clan grow stronger with cute kits! Could I see them, if it's okay?" She stood up and took a small peek at the mewling kit.

Rootclaw watched her, puzzled. "What do you mean?" He mewed, taking a seat beside her, just at the river bed. "What's wrong with having siblings?"

"I just never wanted any!" Spottedkit growled.
