"Of course you are!" Damin laughed. "You are the prettiest dog I've ever seen." He walked over to Sam, smiling at her. He looked down, his eyes scared. Damin and Sam stood in front of his little den, looking at each other. Damin glanced into Sam's eyes lovingly. "Sam, um, this might sound weird, but, will you be my mate?" Damin asked shyly.

Scarlet sighed, "What are we to do with Storm?" She looked at Grim, sighing. The border collie curled up beside him, closing her eyes.

"She'll be fine. I know how she feels, really. Thinking you can never be trusted, even by the one you trust the most..." He sighed, and laid down, draping his head over Scarlet's back.

[Canair]

"Alright," She replied and opened one eye. She looked at Grim, "What about the other groups? Maybe they´re better then ours already?" Scarlet sighed, shaking the thought out of her head.

[Akpahsj]

Sam looked at him. "Of course I will." She said, smiling, then licked him on the cheek. She was crying tears of joy. She was never happier in her life than at this moment.

Arber turned back. "Don't chew on your paw." He said, scowling at her. "If I really make you that mad for you to chew on yourself, why don't I just leave the group? or what would you like Storm? What would you like me to do? Your wish is my command." He said, a mad but depressed look on his face.

Damin laughed happily. He licked Sam's cheek, ran around the den, and jumped all over the place. Damin never thought he could feel this way. He rolled around on the ground, leaped over his den, and ran doughnuts into the dirt and mud caked grass.

[Akpahsj]

Sam laughed. She watched him, seeing how happy he was. She was as happy as him, but her bulky body could not allow her to do half the little tricks Damin could do.

Grim laughed. "Never! Ours will always be the strongest, no matter the numbers. We have the will and talent, they have nothing." He scoffed, and licked at Scarlet's ear. Kanuga scooted in to lay under her head, licking her paws with his rough tongue.

Storm snarled at him. "I could chew on your paw!" She snorted like an angry moose, and turned her back away from him. She began to rant to herself. "If you want me gone so bad, fine. I'll just live by myself again, alone, the way I should be. I'll just go back to never speaking again. Stupid males, think they're so smart. I can just walk away and let the pups starve to death, I bet he'd like that, huh? Then he'd have another excuse to pity himself." She started to chew her paw again, snarling the whole time.

[Bluish]

Damin grinned such a big grin that his cheeks hurt, but he didn't care. He pushed Sam over very gently and wrestled with her, nuzzling her shoulder and licking her cheek. He finally calmed down and sat on his hunches in front of her. Damin's tail was wagging so fast it was a single blur in a cloud of dust and his whole body waggled along with it.

Akuma looked around. "I'm just not used to being with so many others." She sighed, shaking her head and laying down, her guard hairs up slightly. "It's just all so new, so... so odd. It might be too much." She kept her ears swiveling, always alert for attack.

"Akuma, you don't have to worry about anybody attacking you." He smiled sweetly. "I know you can handle yourself, but just know I would fight for you too." He looked up at the sky. "If this is too much...." He paused trying to think of a solution. "We can leave camp for awhile. Find some place to spend the day, and come back when your ready?" He tried to make his voice sound comforting, but he didn't know if it was working. He started licking the blood stains on his fur away, waiting for an answer from her.


Lillie walked back over to Castro. She was interested in the new male, "I have decided to stay" She said in a proud voice. "Those pups need me, i have come to realize." She smiled at the new dog. She then went over to the food pile, and ripped off some meat for the two dogs to share.
