Rootclaw smirked, barely trotting to keep up with her as she ran. "You know that I wont." He mused, nudging her gently with his elbow, "Now, what's Russetleap done this time? Is she up to her old tricks again?"

Rootclaw watched her, puzzled. "What do you mean?" He mewed, taking a seat beside her, just at the river bed. "What's wrong with having siblings?"

Thorntail lashed his tail back and forth as his daughter left the nursery. "I wonder why she is so grumpy about this. Does she know about her....first siblings?" He asked this half to himself and half to the maine coon beside him.

Ashkit and Pebblekit were sleeping on each other in one of the corners of the nursery. They were 6 moons old now, but they didn't think their leader would notice for a while.

(I haven't used those characters for a while! Goodness! D= Okay, I like your kit names! I'm using Cloudkit for the grey kit and Cobblekit for the mixed tabby =D)

"No," Russetleap mewed, her chest heavy with sorrow, and worry. "I never had the heart to tell her. I just wish that she'd have more sense than to run from camp! At this rate, she wont be made an apprentice until her twelfth moon!"

Sablekit watched awkwardly as her friend ran from camp, and then back at the other kits. Flamekit, who seemed not to notice what was going on, rolled around in the dirt. "Where's Pebblekit and Ashkit?" He chirped, "They weren't out playing with us before."

[Pumpkin Cupcake]

Thorntail layed by her side and curled his body around hers, nuzzling her and occasionally catching glimpses of his new kits. "She'll come back. Spottedkit is probably overwelmed by being in the nursery so long and not having many kits to play with."

Ashkit heard playful yowls from outside while she slept, and slowly came to awakening. She was sort of half asleep still though.

Trying to relax, Ruseetleap took a deep breath and nodded, "I guess so..." She mewed softly, "I just hope that Rootclaw found her, and that she's ok. What if she does come around to the idea of more kits? What kind of mother am I then? I should've told her before, so that she had time to warm to the idea..."

"Ashkit!" Flamekit squeaked, leaping to his paws, and bounding over to the she-kit, almost landing on top of her on numerous occasions. "You sleepy mouse! It's sun high!"

[Pumpkin Cupcake]

Thorntail purred softly. "You didn't know we were having more kits, so you wouldn't have thought of asking her. But before you ask anymore worrying questions. I want to see my kits! I had to stand outside, and when Spottedkit entered with me,I couldn't see them."

Ashkit yawned and looked to Flamekit happily. "Alright, pussy cat! I'm coming!" She carefully stood up, cuffing Flamekit across the ear playfully and bounding outside.

(Do you see romance for these two kits in the future? XD)

{ Sure!! ^.^ Since she's a but older than he is, she'd become an apprentice a few moons before he would, and then a warrior. So tt'd be a lot like Russet and Thorn all over again, just the genders swapped xD }

Russetleap purred, forgetting momentarily about Spottedkit, and focusing on her new bundles of fur. Slowly and carefully, she unwrapped her tail from her stomach, revealing the four tiny bodies. "All healthy," She whispered happily, almost to herself more so than Thorntail as she peered down at them, "Star Clan haven't abandoned us after all."

Flamekit smiled, bounding energetically around her. "So you wanna play a game?" He mewed excitedly in his kittish way.

(Yeah, but it makes it all the more fun! =D)

Thorntail reached down his head and touched his nose gently to each. "They're beautiful, just like you," he whispered, licking the head of a small grey tabby she-kit.

"What to play?" Ashkit asked, laughing and bounding after Flamekit.
