Minty smiled "Dont mind if I do!" she said chuckling. "Well since I came here, she was jelous of me spending so much time with 'her' Avalon. So now with you here she wants to show him she can be motherly so he will take her back" she whispered to Amelia so low no one but them could hear. "I am whispering because I dont want to start anything, I shall not sink to Fallen" she said winking at her. "Now why dont we talk about you? What happened love?" she asked trying to comfort her.

Amelia didn't understand why either one was trying to win him. Arco had three mares, and they never fought like this. "Well, I was the only foal in the herd, and my dad doesn't live on the island anymore, so my mom had another baby with her new mate. When she was born, my mom didn't spend time with me anymore, and the other mares were too busy for me as well, so I left so that I wouldn't be a nusance anymore." she said.

"Because I'm lead mare around here!" Fallen said, kicking the mare. "I'm not trying to 'win Avalon back,' because I never lost him! I'm just trying to help a foal!" she said. "You disgust me."

That was sad, Minty felt bad for her. But had some advice, "Awww, its okay honey. I am sorry that your dad left. But look, Amelia, when your mom had the other foal doesnt mean that she doesnt love or that she doesnt want to spend time with you. I know she would, but the foal is young she its needs your mothers care and help. When you were little your mom did the same thing for you did she? Your mom still lvoes you dearly but she needs to care for the foal until it is old enough to care for its self. And when it grows up, I hope it will grow up to be just like you. And you will be a great model, an older sister!" she said smiling and nuzzling Amelia to cheer her up. Minty hoped this helped.

Minty was shocked "You must be a great example! A lead mare kicking a another mare in the herd. NO YOU DISGUST ME! There is a filly here!" she said not sinking to Fallens level. She saw that Fallen must have very low self-estem.

Amelia huffed. Obviously, neither one of them was willing to get along. Amelia stood up, and said, "I see you two are a bit busy, so I think I'll be continuing on my way. I have other places to be...." she trotted off, in the direction that was away from herold herd and away from the two mares.

Chance was walking through the long grass when she fount Amelia's scent by some pushed-down grass. She nickered to Arco and followed the scent slowly, not wanting to fall off-course.

Minty looked at Fallen Look at what you did you big b1tch. This was truly Fallens fauly. Minty was talking to her explaining and tring to help her and little 1 month old Fallen kicks her. Obvisouly a 1 month old kicking you doesnt hurt at all, but that wasnt the point. The point was Minty was calm and helping Amelia and then Fallen starts fighting and CLEARLY doesnt care about the foal watching this. "Amelia wait!" she said cantering after her. "I was trying to help you! And you saw what happened when I was calm and talking to you and igorning Fallen!" she said cradling Amelia.

Amelia looked at the ground. "Alright... I'll stay for a little bit longer."

Minty looked realived "Thank you Amelia. This is for your benifit. So remember what I told to before? What I was explaining to you before Fallen came?"

She sighed. "Yes... I don't want to go back now, though. I can't imagine how upset my mom would be with me..."

"Yes, but I want you to know your mom will always love you, and she doesnt love the foal more than she does you. She just needs to take care of the foal because it cant take of its self like you can." she said winking at her. "Come on Amelia, I think we should find your mother. I will come with you, but since you ran away you have to face the consicences. Your mom will always love you, and a lot of horses like you tend to feel the sae way when their mother has another foal. But she loves you and always will" she said nuzzling Amelia.
