Russetleap quickly looked up to see Spottedkit, making sure that her tail was covering the tiny bundles of fur. "Come in," She mewed softly, hoarse with tiredness.

Spottedkit sat down, curling her tail over her paws. "Whats wrong?" She asked, refurring the all the yowling.

"Nothing," Russetleap replied, reassuring her kit, "I am just a little sore," She mewed, beckoning Spottedkit closer. "But everything is alright now."

Spottedkit nodded and stepped forwards.

"Spottedkit," She started softly, looking up at Thorntail briefly for support, and then back at her eldest kit. "I am not quiet sure how to tell you..." She mewed cautiously, touching her nose to the tip of her kit's ear, "But you know how some cats have siblings? Like I have Fireleaf and Rootclaw? Well, you're going to have siblings of your own."

Spottedkit flinched. She growled and harshly backed away. "Siblings?! I dont want any!" She snarled.

Russetleap looked at her with wide eyes, stunned. "Why not!?" She demanded, appalled by her kits harsh tone and abrupt movements. "There's nothing wrong with having siblings!"

Spottedkit growled and stared at her, flicking her tail harshly. She turned and ran out of camp.

Russetleap hissed, she couldn't leave the camp. "Foxdung!" She spat angrily, annoyed by her kit. "I thought you were better than that!!" She spat, her tail beginning to lash.

"Watch where you're going!" He called as the kit skidded between his legs. Only Russetleap's kit... He thought with a small smile. Rootclaw padded into the nursery, watching as his sister hissed angrily. He had never seen her like that, she looked as if she was taking on a family of badgers by herself. "I heard about they kits and I came to che-"
"Did you see Spottedkit?!" She meowed frantically. "Yes, she-"
"Please go get her!" She pleaded, "Who knows what she'll do!"
Suddenly realizing what was going on, the lean, playfull tom gained one of his first stern looks, nodded, and rushed from the nursery, watching as the kit's small body vanished through the camp entrance. "Spottedkit!" He called, rushing over to her, easily catching up, "Wait up!" He mewed softly as he came to be just a kitten step behind her.

Spottedkit turned to him, hissing. "Leave me alone!" She snarled, running further down stream.
