Birch being the light sleeper she was, awoke slightly when she heard the rustle of the stallion settling down to sleep. A soft snort escaped her muzzle as she shuffled her frame around, trying to get comfortable again.

Chase since he went to bed later was still asleep by the time the sun came over the tree's. The sun was already only 2 hours in the sky and Chase could feel the warmth hit him.

Birch woke up to the blinding light the sun's rays were giving off, shining on them. She blinked slowly a few times, erasing her sleepy, blurred vision before she focused on Chase beside her. She watched his slow breathing for a second; still allowing her mind to fully wake, before she carefully rose to her feet. Birch was careful not to wake him as she strode over to a patch of long grass blades. The mare smiled slightly at the sleeping stallion before bending her head down to lip at the grass. The sun's rays warmed her back, causing her to feel overall happy in the moment.

Chase was asleep for a few more moments before waking up. He didnt get up right away but just instead laid there. He looked around and saw Birch eating. He saw the way the sun hit her fur and made some of it shine. He looked at her purple deep eyes and saw them also shine. He then stood up stretching his front leg."Good morning" he said smiling

Birch lifted her head up seeing he woke up. She smiled slightly. ''Morning sleepy head.'' she replied then grinned slightly. She blinked before walking slowly towards him, nibbling on the remaining grass in her muzzle. ''Have a nice sleep?'' she asked, halting and tilting her head to the side when she was a couple feet in front of him.

Chase smiled and nodded"ya slept pretty well. I must say we didnt look long but we found a pretty good place"he replied back and bent his head down to take a bite of green grass.

Birch nodded, then blew her forelock out of her eyes, which only fell back on her face. ''Indeed we did. Indeed we did.'' she replied shaking her coat then smiling faintly.

Badger gave a soft smile then slowly made his way over to the mare's side. Her black and white markings reminded him of his own but instead of a few white spots, hers were trailed around her frame. He kept a few feet in between them when he stopped, still a little unsure about the mare. Before he spoke he bowed his head in a friendly gesture, "I am Badger, what might your name be m'lady?" he asked her letting his emerald green eyes soften some. A breeze caught his forelock and tossed it back into his face; it simply ignored it. His head lifted some to look at the branches above the two, he reared up onto his back legs and pulled a branch down from the tree and placed in at their hooves. He reached down and took a few leaves from the branch to snack on then left the rest for the mare in case she was hungry.

She gave a soft smile at the stallion as he stepped closer, and she took a moment to study his looks and looked up at his emerald like eyes, a friendly gleam in her own aqua eyes.
"Howl of the Wolf, but you can call me Holly" she said and smiled once more and slightly laughed.
She quickly turned her attention to the branch he pulled down and smiled when he offered her. "Thank you"

Chase smiled and bent his head down and bit at the green plush grass. Then he remembered he never asked her how she slept"how did you sleep?"

Badger gave a nod after she had thanked him then stated, "You have a very nice name and it's a pleasure to meet you Holly." He gave a soft smile as he looked at her, his emerald eyes meeting her aqua gems before heh pulled his gaze away to look behind her for a second. He shifted his weight onto three of his hooves to release one of his hind legs. He stood like that for a minute then before putting his weight onto all four hooves again and said, "Would you like to take a walk with me?" he asked her as he let his eyes meet hers once again.
