Rainpelt purred, touching his nose with hers. "Not yet," she smiled. "I'm taking in Rivers kits as my own." She smiled and backed up.

Whitekit backed up from Russetleap and bumped into Spottedkit, making her and her patrol fall over. "Huh?" Goldenkit asked.

Firestorm sighed, slightly disappointed at the fact that they weren't to have kits of their own, though, he got over it quickly. He'd treat River's as if they were of his blood. He smiled, "That is a wonderfully thoughtful thing you're doing." He purred, rubbing his cheek to hers. "I'm so proud of you." He whispered sweetly.

Russetleap looked over at the kits, "That's enough for today..." She mewed softly, trying to ignore the pain. "Go and play in the nursery..."

Thorntail ran up to Russetleap and nuzzled her, trying what he could to comfort her. "Should I get the medicine cat?" he asked worridly.

Strengths
Large build, very strong, great fighter
Thick fur, great shield to prevent injuries
Amazing hearing, almost nothing gets by his keen ears
Very strong sense of what's right and wrong, calm demeanor
Prefers to try and avoid any needless fighting, thinks things through

Weaknesses
Too big to fit into the tight places along the gorge/camp/small brush to hide
Thick fur proves great during leaf-bare, but can cause him to over heat during green-leaf
Thick fur also makes is difficult for him to swim
Gives mercy easily, doesn't like hurting others
Almost no sense of smell
Poor hunter


Personality

Caring: Raised by only his mother, she has instilled a sense of compassion and mercy in her first and only born son. Do not be mistaken however, he is no coward, and those who think that of him will find themselves very easily proven wrong in the end if they choose to engage him in battle.
Due to his large, intimidating appearance however, there are rarely challengers.
He has a soft spot for kits and will protect any kit, no matter the blood line, whatever the cost.

Insecure: He is very insecure about his faults, including his poor sense of smell, horrid hunting abilities, inability to swim, and his constant belief that others might be taking advantage of his kindness and big heart.

Intelligent: Foxtail is more of a thinker then a fighter, and will always try to avoid battles he doesn't think are necessary.

"That... That would be nice..." She mewed calmly, though continuing to grit her teeth.
By this stage, Zinniapaw was already rushing over to the commotion, and seeing Russetleap in the state she was, quickly herded the kits into the nursery, and then rushed back to her side. "Stomach pain?" She asked gently. "You know that you shouldn't be moving like that with kits!" She exclaimed quietly.
Russetleap looked up at Zinniapaw from her crouched position, "Kits? What kits!?" She questioned worriedly.
Zinniapaw's eyes grew wide, "Oh-I," She stuttered, "I thought you knew... It's pretty obvious! Look how round you're getting!"
Russetleap took a look at her stomach, slowly realizing. I thought I was eating too much fresh-kill... She thought awkwardly, realizing that no, there was no way that that was the case.
Gently Zinniapaw nudged her shoulder with her nose, "Just go rest," She instructed, turning her gaze to Thorntail, "And if it gets any worse, come get me." And with that, she trotted back off to the medicine cat's den.
Russetleap starred up at her mate with a startled gaze, "Kits," She mewed, breath taken, trying to wrap her head around what just went on, "More."

Thorntail nodded to Zinniapaw, then turned all of his attention to Russetleap. "Shh, calm down. It's alright. I'm going to stay by you until they arrive." He nuzzled her cheek, hoping that she wouldn't go through too much shock.

Russetleap shuddered. More kits? Really!? She groaned, wasn't Spottedkit enough? How would she go with siblings? siblings. She hadn't even given more kits a thought! With a sigh, Russetleap nodded, slowly getting to her paws, relying on Thorntail's support as they neared the nursery. "Is this what you want?" She whispered worriedly, "More kits? With me?"
