(Oh oh!! I have an idea Fairy! *points to Flowerpaw's post bellow*

AirClan

"Aren't you scared?" Smoothpaw asked Gracepaw. For a she-cat she was really confident in this whole thing, not to mention she was a medicine cat. "I mean, it's really cool and all, but won't it be risky? I'd love to get my paws on Icestar. But Darkclan is made out of innocent cats just under Icestar's control right? I feel bad for them..." He shook his head as he remembered he was getting of track. "Congrats though, I'm sure you'll do great."

Flowerpaw looked down at her paws. " I know what it's like for someone you care about to do something dangerous. Both my mother and father went into a bloody battle and didn't come back." Her eyes where distant, far away. She still didn't remember her parents very well. " Even though, I stood up for the while they where still alive, I encouraged them when they where scared." She looked at Graypaw with her huge hazel eyes and said, "If you really want to protect your sister, help her. You can't stop her from going you know, but you can prepare her." Flowerpaw's eyes shone with excitement. "Maybe we can set up sort of a mini-training program for her! Like when our mentors teach us something, we can show Gracepaw so when the battle with Darkclan comes, Gracepaw can be prepared, would you feel better then?”

(Morningpaw11, your form is not accepted. Please reread the rules. It's really easy to find. ;) Thank you for the sympathy, Rose. x.x" I'm still not done yet.
@Cookie: Again, the parents of your IceClan litters was unclear. Could you clarify? In the parents' forms you said one thing and in the kits' forms you said another.)

Gathering
Nightfire's head snapped up. What... There was her leader, his claws unsheathed, standing on top of Ashfeather. How dare he! Anger bubbled up inside her, but the fear of her leader caused her to think a moment before acting. Knowing Ashfeather, she had probably said something stupid to throw Bloodstar off his rocker. But attacking her, at a Gathering no less, was not the solution. Sure, call her out, make Pebblestar punish her, maybe even smack her in the face. Outright attacking was not acceptable.

Ashfeather hissed softly, struggling at first. How dare he! But he was too heavy. And his claws were too sharp. It took her a moment to realize her own stupidity. I should not have said that. Should not have said that. Some of her arrogance left her, followed by most of her resolve. The silver she-cat tried to ignore the stabbing pain in her shoulders as she eased her paws out from under her to make her position a bit more comfortable. Don't give in. She thought about using her powers. A good stream of air would lift him for the split second it would take to remove herself from the situation. Just a split second. That was all she needed. Fire scorched the air next to her face, causing her to turn away from the heat. (Neither she nor Bloodstar was burned.) When it was safe to look back, her eyes widened. Nightfire stood apart from the other FireClan cats, who were backing away in fear. Her eyes blazed red, crackling like the powerful fire that burned inside of her. "Get off of her, Bloodstar. Ashfeather may be stupid, but this is not acceptable."

SunClan
Flowerface sighed. Foxflame was going to be in trouble if Sunstar got home and found him here. So why wasn't he moving? The medicine cat stepped out of the leader's den to watch and wait for her mate's arrival. Maybe she could explain.
~~~~~~~~~~
Melodykit blinked. Her eyes, blue eyes, were so liquiscent. The tiny kit looked over to her left at a cream tabby she-cat. My mother. The scent and voice of the she-cat was familiar. She looked up at a large ginger tabby tom. My father? Yes, he must be, staring down at her with enthralled green eyes. She looked in the other direction and spotted a small black tom, a kit like herself. He was familiar as well. But who was he? Melodykit rolled over onto her belly to get a better look. The tom-kit's scent drifted over, and she remembered. Only a few nights ago. The noise, the smells, the activity. All around her. But she was helpless. This tom-kit had pulled her away to safety. He had protected her with his own body. She remembered.
Her brothers and sisters began to open their own eyes and speak their first shaky words. The ginger tom padded over to see his other kits. Melodykit waited until quiet introductions commenced behind her. Then she placed one front paw, her white one, squarely beneath her. She pulled her other front paw beside it. Her tiny, undeveloped muscles strained as she pushed herself upwards, steadying herself with her back paws. A little wobbly, she waited a moment before taking one careful step. Then another. And another. She was six steps away. Five steps. Four steps. Three steps. And then...she fell.
~~~~~~~~~~
Flowerface shivered absently, feeling the chill of the leaf-fall night creep up into her bones. She heard pawsteps behind her. Soft, gentle pawsteps, but pawsteps regardless. The white and ginger she-cat turned around to see what could be walking around in the middle of the night. To her surprise, it was Featherkit. The small white kit was silent, which made Flowerface wonder, was she sleepwalking? "Featherkit, what are you doing up? I thought I told you to go to bed."

Re: PowerClans: The Rise of DarkClan (Deputy & Med. Position

Postby FairyoftheFlames » Tue Nov 16, 2010 11:03 am

((Grarr... I was halfway through this post, and I clicked something and poof! everything was gone, because it took so long to post. I had more stuff, but right now I'm only doing the cats that need an immediate response. I'll do the rest later...))

Fireclan

Ashpaw walked in the back of his clan cats, thinking. This gathering had been great. He'd gotten 2 potential projects from two very different clans. Of course, if his plans with Mothpaw worked, then he didn't really need too many projects. He was proud of himself for helping Graypaw get his own friend, as he suspected his little brother and Flowerpaw were probably in the middle of a flirtatious conversation. Probably not, actually. He wasn't that type, in spite of his potential. That stutter sometimes made him want to throttle the little guy, but it could be used to his advantage. Though if his brother ever became Airclan leader, the rest of the clan would be annoyed too, for seasons to come. He thought of Whisperpaw, and her beautiful eyes. She seemed shy, but maybe he could change that. She seemed like an honorable apprentice, and would probably make a cool leader, and they could be Ashstar and Whisperstar. But that probably wouldn't happen either. In all of this thinking, Ashpaw bumped into Silverclaw, with fear-scent warfing off her like a flower. His view of the Fireclan leader was blocked by the silver she-cat, so he wasn't sure what was wrong. "What's up?" he asked, mildly curious of her fear.

"Look," Silverclaw gestured her tail to a sight that left Ashpaw stuck in his tracks. Bloodstar had pinned down a somewhat unfamiliar she-cat, one that he vaguely remembered from talking to Creampaw early on during the gathering. The one that he assumed that his brother was hitting off with. What was she doing here? And what had she done to anger his leader? He saw his mentor, Nightfire, defending the she-cat, and Ashpaw almost ran to her aid, if it wasn't for Silverclaw blocking his way. "Coward!" he hissed, trying to get around her with no avail.

"Out of respect of your mother, I'm making sure you don't get into this fight. Nightfire's your mentor, and in spite of her age, she's rather strong. She can hold her own. Let's just watch this and see. You can't take on our leader." Silverclaw stared him down, forcing him to look away. "Fine." he snarled. "But this can't take too long. I need to get to sleep." And see to my adoring fangirl... Ashpaw's eyes narrowed, doubting this was going to go as well as Silverclaw hoped it would.

Waterclan

"You broke up?" Cloudfur's eyes widened. How could Marshpelt do something like this? He looked down at Silverleaf's sorrow-filled frame, and made a regretful thought from inside of himself. Hey, Silverleaf's not taken anymore! You could tell her how you really feel and become her mate! He frowned at himself. He couldn't do that, not in the midst of the sorrow of her loss. "I'm sorry." He looked up at his warrior ancestors, and then looked back at Silverleaf. "We should get going." He flanked her right side, wondering how to comfort her. Almost all of his life, he had liked Silverleaf, but hadn't said a word. He had watched her since she and Marshpelt decided to become mates, and accepted his fate as the quiet clanmate that faded into the background, his best skill was watching other cats and seeing how they express their emotions. He almost wanted to run back to the gathering and defend Silverleaf's she-cat honor, demanding a reason for Marshpelt to break off the relationship, leaving Silverleaf in a sorrowful state. But he was not that powerful, nor that rash, so the best he could do was to help Silverleaf. But he wouldn't forgive Marshpelt that easily. "Everything... will be okay." He promised. "Somehow."

Airclan

Gracepaw nodded. "I'm a little worried, but I think everything will be okay. I can help Pinewhisker and any other cats with medicine supplies. It's not like Starclan expects me to fight. That, and I'll need to take care of the Sunclan kits. Why Starclan picked kits... I don't know. I'll let Shinelight be the heroic cat from Airclan."

Graypaw's ears perked at Flowerpaw's idea. "Y-yeah! That's a great pl-plan. Maybe we should talk to Ashf-feather and Cloudmoth f-for permission. But it is a g-good idea." He felt better. But it would need to happen before he felt perfectly okay letting Gracepaw go off on her own. His brothers were strong, and Birchpaw was developing super strengh, but he wouldn't let Gracepaw's frail body get hurt. He'd rather sacrifice himself then let her die at the paws of Icestar.

(*cough cough* Willow, I need some herbs over here *sniffle* I'm sick and my poor mind is failing me >.< so I can't write a very big post. *Weakly streaches arm out to Willow* If you fix my you can have one of Dawnkits cookies "What!" Quiet Dawnkit! * slaps hand on Dawnkits mouth and takes a cookie out of the pile*)

Airclan

"Ya! We can start tomorrow at Sunrise! I'm sure Cloudmoth won't mind and Ashfeather's got to let you go! I mean, why wouldn't he? We can show her how to hide herself in bushes and keep her sent down-wind,and all of that basic training stuff!" She gave a little skip at the thought of helping her friends. Mostly Graypaw though, she wanted to help him when he went through hard times like this. That's what "friends" do for each other though rite?

((Ugh. . . I'm waiting for this day to get worse; I've had a pretty [Insert swear word of your choice here] day already, and losing a one thousand word post at the end of it is not helping. . . x.x;; Neither is the fact that my body wants to kill me. . . I'll retype the post if I can find the time to do so; I apologize for my inactivity in the past week. All of my teachers decided to work together in order to dump as much homework as possible on us, and I couldn't find any time to spare on nurturing what little shred of muse I can muster. I have a five-day weekend next week that looks promising, though -- it's all I can do to keep breathing until then! Anyway, your cats are accepted, willow. I apologize for complaining to you all.))

Dappleheart sighed feeling tired. Her blue eyes glanced around her clanmates and she was glad her clan was safe and well. Imagining DarkClan attacking them sent shivers through her body.

PowerClans: The Rise of Darkclan (Deputy & Med. Position

Postby Arouria » Sat Nov 20, 2010 1:13 am

(*Grabs herbs and eats them, then sits straight up and yells* "Ya! I can finish my post now!" Oh and I fixed the kit post Tink:)
I edited it! There are more kitty's post now :3 Oh and are my cats accepted? )

Airclan
Pebblestar's paws iched to run her cats were padding along like they had all night! She flung her head over her sholder and called,
" Lets move a little faster than this!" With her words finished, she broke into a run and waited for her cats to pick up the pace behind her. If they were not going to move, they would get left behind, tuff for them. All the simpathy was gone form the silver-gray leader. She wanted nothing more than to at least try to sleep, but that wasen't likely to happen, She decided she would ask for poppy seeds when she got home.

Smoothpaw looked over at Gracepaw and replied " Ya thats a good idea, then again, Starclan can't really control what Darkclan does because they don't follow them." He pointed out. "Wouldn't it be a good idea to get some warrior training just incase? I mean, Darkclan dosen't fallow the warrior code so..."He trailed of. He then summond up the words he was going to say. "Won't they try to harm you and the kits?" There was no showing-off in his voice only pure consern. At the sound of his leaders call he said to Gracepaw, "We should start running now." he started running.

Flowerpaw's ears pricked at her leader's voice and started to run, she called to Graypaw, ""I bet I can beat you to the front!" A friendly gleam in her eyes as she started running.

Shinelight heard her leaders call and picked up into a run. Her shock of being chosen was replaced with a pricking curiousity. She wondered what it would be like to fight Darkclan.. Maybe she could sink her teeth into that thilthy Icestar's throat! For a second, just a heartbeat, she felt a pang of pity for the white she-cat. She, like all kits and apprentices, had heard the story of Icestar, but was it really her fault that she had had such a hard start in life? Could the she cat just want something she never had as a kit?: A friend? Shinelight shook her head of the thought, they were dealing with a real murderous, dark-hearted cat, right?

Re: PowerClans: The Rise of DarkClan (Deputy & Med. Position

Postby major tom » Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:35 am

((Meh. I didn't think I'll be able to get on later, so I typed up this post while I still could. It's a morning post, so be warned. . .))
Gathering
~Bloodstar~
I felt a wavering excuse for satisfaction bubble up within my chest as my opponent struggled beneath me. It was short-lived – the emotion only lasted for a few heartbeats – but somewhat enjoyable nonetheless. If only I could ignore the lingering anger that had consumed it, hence its short lifespan. Speaking of which . . . another lifespan may have ended in a matter of moments. I had reacted impulsively to the disrespectful she-cat, and she was receiving what she deserved. She must pay for her insolence! With this single thought my blood sang for vengeance. My claws made their homes in her flesh, and I barely registered the tiny hiss that escaped her. It was music to my ears. I was the leader of FireClan – how dare she thrust her challenge-laced questions before my nose without the expectation of so much as a small reprimanding? The frail, momentary satisfaction returned as I watched a deep red liquid ooze from the wounds I had just bestowed upon the arrogant, carrion-eating fool – the liquid from which my name derived. I enjoyed the metallic tang of the scent of blood while it lingered in my nostrils and danced across my tongue. Yet another familiar but not as welcome scent greeted nose.

Fear-scent wreathed the hollow now as I inhaled, lavishing the moment before I realized from whom the fear-scent was issued. I could nearly feel the burn of countless eyes fixated in horror on the back of my head, my well-earned muscles writhing beneath my skin like snakes yearning to escape, where my claws met the back and shoulders of the stranger I was attacking. I had attracted the attention of nearly every subordinate and peer that was present. Most of their faces were likely contorted in shock, I presumed. When I lifted my head to confirm this, I was assaulted by too many questions that I had numbers for in the stricken stares of my fellow felines. Many of which were from my own Clan. Cursing StarClan as well as my own thoughtless actions, I unwillingly answered a few of them in the confines of my own mind while my mistakes began to dawn on me; rage didn’t last forever, and I watched as the red tides of fury lapping at my vision gradually faded into oblivion. I didn’t wish to prolong this any more than necessary. The main question standing was: Why?

The single word haunted my thoughts, for they brought – more like dragged forcefully – me back to a mere length of no more than a few days ago. I struggled against it at first, gazing frantically about the crowd for a distraction, anything to keep my mind free, but there was no rest for the wicked. My beseeching eyes singled out no other cat than my own deputy, yet she was under a different name at the moment. Her pristine white coat, those piercing blue eyes that challenged ice for its wicked chill. . . . It was no wonder that I faltered on the brink of insanity. I recalled the unexpected visit my half-sister had graced upon me no too long ago, on the night of the SunClan battle. The deed was brought into light once more, as it so often was under the moon where I could not escape the faults that I executed prior to my constant reflection time – as if I needed to be reminded! – and I gripped the raggedly breathing warrior even tighter in my grasp. She was no more than a piece of prey trapped in my claws, as was I during my last encounter with the leader of DarkClan. Icestar had extinguished the flame that had always smoldered on inside of me; she had put out my spirit. I was broken. Yet she had replaced that fire with one of her own, perhaps one that was even more intense than before. It was a fire that only promised the worst of things, and somehow I found that pleasing. Of course, the cats surrounding me didn’t agree.

I stiffened when a sudden blaze singed the tips of my whiskers off and barely missed the rest of my face. Recovering quickly, I crouched and resisted the impulse to abandon my brief assault but closed my eyes against the unexpected heat anyway. The almost blistering warmth billowed over me and ruffled my fur with flickering tongues that ran over my pelt. When it had passed, I slowly opened my eyes and found myself staring directly into the fiery gaze of my own warrior, the black-pelted she-cat known as Nightfire. How appropriate; I had chosen the suffix of her name for good reason. Her words were practically burning as she spat them into the brisk night air that still smelt of fear-scent. “Get off of her, Bloodstar. Ashfeather may be stupid, but this is not acceptable.” My own flames rekindled slightly as she spoke, but my head remained clear enough for me to see sense in her words. The applied logic was accompanied by a flare of defiance manifesting my already twisted mind, and I reacted by doing the first instinct that I had followed throughout the taxing course of my life. “It is perfectly so, Nightfire. This fool will only act disrespectful to her superiors once again if she is not disciplined, and that is disrespectful.” I growled in low tones, yet every cat in the hollow could hear my harsh words. I straightened and tensed my legs in a successful effort to regain them; my ears remained flattened to my skull.

I fought the desire to finish off this mouse-brained excuse for a cat, but I forced myself to hold my position. I briefly wondered what the other inhabitants of the neutral territory saw – a deranged madcat? A cruel leader showing his true colors? Could I even dare to hope for a single cat to view the world through my blood-colored eyes, to understand? Impossible. I could have reduced this victim of idiocy to a mere pile of ashes, but something restrained me for the time being. I sensed that another cat was preparing to speak.
((Hehe. There's two bits of irony hidden[?] in here; only Tink and I will know both of them. Unless you're very perceptive and/or can read Private Messages that are not yours. ;3 One of them is obvious, but the other isn't so.
Also, I have to go to the doctor sometime soon; I think it's this week. I hate doctor's appointments -- why can't herbs be enough for me? ;_;"))

My name is Tiger, and your name is not Tiger, and I'm here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff. A few of my interests include science fiction, video games, comic books, girl bands, wearing too much eye makeup, and dismantling the patriarchy. My preferred required pronouns are they/them/their.
