Shallowcreek raced over before slowing. She blinked her green eyes and settled on her side before rolling onto her back. She looked up and sighed. "It's so beautiful..."

over at Cloverfeather. "Hey,
Clover!" he called out, waving
his paw.

"I know," Graystream breathed softly. "I know..." He was mesmerized by the stars.

Daffodiltail glanced over at Cloverfeather.

Shallowcreek then rolled onto her side and gazed at Greystream. She studied his movement and expressions calmly.

(*squints*)

Graystream had been staring at the stars for quite a while now when he noticed that Shallowcreek was staring at him. "Hm?" He tilted his head to look at her. "What is it?"

Shallowcreek was smiling then he looked at her. She looked up at the stars quickly, cheeks flaming.

[Cradily]

"Huh." Graystream appeared a bit confused, but didn't question her anymore. Rather, he returned his gaze to the night sky. "Sure is pretty, huh? I love the stars."

Shallowcreek smiled. "They are, and my family is up there too.", she breathed. Her eyes closed and she thought of her mother's gentle heart.

"Mine too," Graystream sighed. "It's nice to know they're up there, watching over us."

Shallowcreek smiled. "They love us so much..."
