Forestheart looked at her apprentice and back at the big tree. "I figured we would train here. Don't go after any real prey though." she said. "Show me a hunters crouch. Yes, I know I haven't showed you it. I want to see what you know already."
Falconpaw shifted his weight on his paws, then shrugged. He sank down to his hind legs, slightly favoring the left side. He threw his tail down so it would be hovering just above the ground. For him, the basics had came naturally. He stalked forward slowly then looked at his mentor.
Forestheart looked impressed. "You sure know alot. I bet you watched some of the apprentices show off to you." she grinned as he nodded. "You were slightly favoring one side, and you put too much weight on your hind legs. Other than that you covered the basics." she praised. "Let me show you mine." she said, and she fell into a hunters crouch. She had her weight perfectly balanced and her paws glided silently over the leaves. She bunched her muscles and pounced. She landed and shook herself. "Now try and fix you mistakes." she said kindly to Falconpaw.
