"Clan members!" Tinystar shouted from the top of a rock. "Yes, Tinystar?" Seasong asked. "Everyone listen, please!" Tinystar said. "Tonight we are all going to go to the Ancient Circle and have a meeting. I expect you all to be there!"

Moonpaw hoped she was coming up with the right idea.

"Yes Moonpaw, we should. We're lucky we're so close to camp." The she-cat licked the kit's fur, attempting to warm it up in the process. "The poor thing's so cold... we better move fast." As Leafcloud picked the kit up by its scruff, she wondered if it was sick, and who would take care of it. After all they didn't have any queens yet.(might have to change this later if a queen joins) Leafcloud ran towards camp and hoped Moonpaw wasn't too far behind. As she skidded to a stop in camp, she realised that Tinystar had called a meeting. After listening for a few seconds and seeing that Moonpaw had arrived as well, Leafcloud took the kit to the medicine cat in case something was wrong.

They arrived at the camp just in time to hear the leader calling a meeting. Moonpaw headed straight for the meeting place.

"Seasong!" Leafcloud whispered, trying not to be disruptive "Seasong, Moonpaw and I found this kit while hunting. Can you take a look? It was very cold when we found it and I'm worried it may be ill." Leafcloud gently deposited the shivering bundle in front of Seasong, wondering if the kit will be allowed into clan. She sat down beside the medicine cat, listening to the leader while watching the kit at the same time.

Sandkit shivered as they were gently placed on the ground and waddled over to the new cat. This new cat, Seasong, was it? Looked very warm, so of course he had to curl up against their side and meow happily at the warmth.

Sandkit relished in the warmth and looked around wondering if there was other warm things to curl up in.

He had heard the announcement, but hadn't responded to it with more than a flick of his ears. But at the mention of kit the silver warrior stops going after the fish to follow his clanmates back to the camp with said kit. After all, they'd be focusing on the kit and not on any possible dangers. Unfortunately.... he knows that one would be easily distracted with a kit around.

It's been too long.

Heart aching at the memories the silver cat frowns to himself, silent. And breathes a sigh of relief at the knowledge that the clans home is so close. Once the mentor and apprentice are safely back into the camp with the unknown kit he turns and dissappear again. There are others who can watch after the little one. He isn't needed here, currently, but there are plenty of mouths to feed - and a new one besides!

It doesn't take long at all - as he ends up running back and forth to the river and camp - until the rest of the fish are in a pile in camp. FallenRains pants softly when he allows himself to take a minute to rest near the warriors den - and then exhaustion tugs at his thin limbs. Would he sleep tonight?

Probably not. There is that Clan meeting that he's required to go to. He would rather not...

The he-cat wakens at the announcement - mildly annoyed. Don't they get he's sleeping? He's been up all night! Grumpy, he rolls over and curls back up... but he doesn't fall asleep.

Leafcloud wondered if the kit could talk yet since even though it was skinny, it seemed about 4 moons old. "Little one, can you talk? what is your name?" Leafcloud asked. She sniffed the kit looking for the smell of sickness, or the absence of one. As Tinystar mentioned the ancient circle, Leafcloud perked up. She had only been there once before, and it was a pleasant experience. her attention snapped back to the kit when it mewed again.

Sandkit nodded at the she-cat's question before letting out a quiet, nervous "yes, m-my name is Sandkit."

He giggled as she sniffed him before tapping her nose with his paw. "Boop."

Sandkit. That sounded so much like a clan cat's name, was Sandkit originally from another clan? he didn't smell like any clan they knew so far, and he didn't smell like another cat either. As tapped her nose, Leafcloud could tell that he wasn't sick, his paw pads weren't hot. he also seemed a bit weak so the calico she-cat decided to get a piece of prey for him. "I'll be right back Sandkit, be good for Seasong please." On her way to the fresh-kill pile, Leafcloud whispered to Moonpaw "We can get back into training once we find Sandkit a foster mother. sorry for ditching you in the forest." she gave Moonpaw an apologetic smile before heading to the fresh-kil pile again.

we can't leave the meeting place until Seasong replies.
