Dartfoot sighed, "They smell like twoleg place, or at least not any clan that I know. We might as well take them back to camp." He picked up a small, mewling bundle, its tiny limbs flailing. "What about the other two?" He said around the kit.

Jackheart blinked, thinking. She set the kit down gently and looked at Dartfoot. "We're not too far from the camp. Why don't you stay here with them and I'll bring them to the nursery?"

[Dia.]

Dartfoot shrugged, "Or maybe I could bring them back and you stay here?" He felt uneasy about being left alone with kits...

Snowbound lifted his head, the vole he had just hanging limp in his jaws. Shaking his fluffy fur he pricked his ears. He thought he heard Dartfoot and Jackheart around somewhere, though the smell of his catch obscured their scent.

Jackheart glanced at Dartfoot curiously. "Okay, if you want to. You'll be fine, right?" She was still worried about him; wounds didn't just heal overnight. The she-cat gently picked up a kit and held it out for Dartfoot to grab.

[Dia.]

Dartfoot nodded, 'I'll be fine." He started back to camp with the kit in his jaws. When he made it through the camp entrance, he set it gently on the ground.
