Starclan.. Mosswish thought to herself as she laid her tail over the herbs at her side. She mumbled it out quietly, briefly stopping the wails. The word felt numb, foreign, in the she cats mouth. They took another kit away from her before she even had time to grieve. She pressed her nose deeper into her kits fur as her mates warmth left her side. She didn't hear what he had said. Her thoughts began to wander to everything she had done wrong in her life. That time she tried to be mates with the medicine cat, the time she snuck out to the gathering. When she spoke during her warrior vigil. Even back to when she did small things, like chase a mouse into river clan's territory so it wouldn't be stealing when she killed it. Her cries rose again, the fur of shadow feather doing little to muffle her grief. "This is all my fault...!" She cried out. It was her fault. Star clan was our for revenge on her for all her sins, and this was her retribution

The tom heard his mate's cries, and his tail tightened around his paws. He wished he could be next to to her, comforting her. But he had a job he needed to fulfill. He took in a deep breath, addressing the clan in hopes that the ones who were not appearing would hear. "Breezefire, and.. and Shadowfeather are dead. I believe that the one who murdered D-Darkmoon and Ragepaw, as well as Echokit and Reedpetal, is the one who killed them." He cast his mew loudly, yet his voice wavered as he said the names of those the clan had lost. Starclan was taking too many too soon.

onyxpaws tail dragged on the ground, before growling slightly. why do all the other cats not even CARE that the others are dying? she hissed loudly, but upon hearing emberstar she narrowed her eyes before growling loudly "Of course its the same killer, who else would be taking lifes? not the other clans! i dont think they even know what the herb is?" she growled again, her tail lashing.

Emberstar was taken back by the hostility of his grand-daughter, but it was clear that she was grieving. They all were. he nodded, his voice softening. "Yes, that makes sense. I believe anyone who doesn't wish to see them in their current state deserves to know that, however. But I also believe that the actions that have occurred need to stop- but we should address it later. We need to grieve, and to bury our loved ones in a positive light before casting accusations on others. I ask that there be peace until they run happily through the stars. Shadowfeather and Breezefire would've wanted us to celebrate their lives and to send them off as a family, not foes."

Hollythorn flinched at the mention of Echokit and Reedpetal, though he quickly straightened up and left the den to gather with the other cats. "Yes, Breezefire and Shadowfeather-- as well as all of the others who have lost their lives-- would prefer if we honored them and accepted their deaths, instead of casting the camp into chaos," he agreed, flicking an ear towards the apprentice. "We need to think about what we're doing."

FireFeather has woken up when he heard his leader call for a Clan meeting. It was certainly early in the morning, so he wondered why he’d been called awake.
Once he scrambled out of the den, he heard his father say the words that he dreaded. ShadowFeather was dead, along with BreezeFire. Now two of his siblings were gone.
FireFeather slowly approached the limp body next to his mother, and pressed against MossWish slightly.
His mind was whirring with thoughts, but finally a few words dared to escape your throat. “S-ShadowFeather, come on... you’re not allowed to die.” He felt like a kit again, and he found he could do nothing but feel the tears run down his face.

He heard the commotion. Breezefire and Shadowfeather were dead. His sister and his beloved ex mate gone. He padded up beside Firefeather. "They.... They're dead..... With Ragepaw and.... and Darkmoon." Saying those words it was almost like he had been attacked himself. He sat beside Firefeather. "In my grief for our kit I blamed her," tears welled at his eyes, "if I had known those words were going to be the last we shared...." The tom felt the tears down his face. "Ragepaw tell them I'm so sorry.... For blaming her... For not protecting my dear sister"
