Aspenfur looked over at Beechskip and Ivypaw, not sure on how to comment at first."Would you prefer we kill him?"he asked in a calm voice."If we did that then we wouldn't be any better then him. I do understand your concern, but I think its best we let him live."he hoped he wouldn't provoke the two toms, but he felt they had no reason to snap at him.

"Well your injured and you need to rebuild your strength."Pigeonpaw began."I can get you a second piece and then i'll head out to hunt, so there wont be any reason for any cat to complain."

'' oh, so you would LIKE to bring in the cat who killed our medicine cat? i do agree he shouldn't die, but he shouldn't be part of the clan. he should be a prisoner who tells us biscuit's secrets. '' aspenfur was so mousebrained, didn't he know slyshade died at the paws of that tom? '' he's a cat in mouse clothing! '' he added, hissing once more.

He scowled. He wasn't going to be treated like a prisoner. He padded outside, ending up behind Littlepaw. His voice was back to normal, icy with a hint of fury. "Remind you, this used to be rightful Bloodclan territory. We gave you it, and we can take it back any time.." He scowled, waiting for a response.

Aspenfur flinched, feeling somewhat hurt."Well if we make him a prisoner then he won't tell us anything. If we earn his trust then he'd be more likely to tell us the truth. I know what he did was wrong, and im not saying its okay, but cats can change. Slyshade wouldn't want us to become murderers, she was a kinder cat then that."he froze as Scorch came by, deciding it would be best to remain silent now.
