Pikeflower attempted to prevent himself from being thrown off by hooking his claws into Falcondusk's pelt but with Waterbone pulling him away and the other tom's kick, he was dislodged. "Don't want a fight? Don't want a fight?!" He hissed, "I warned you! You knew what would happen if you even looked at my kits. You asked for this fight!" At this point, the only thing that was holding him back was his daughter because he didn't want to fight against her.

[storm coming.]

Applepaw rolled her head over and gave a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Dandelionpaw." she said, more calmly. "She was being a fox-hearted flea-bag to me. She was the one to suggest hanging out in the first place. It was her idea to battle train. Then she pushed me around and wouldn't leave me alone! She said I belonged in the cutter..."

"Dad, I approached him. I love him, and nothing will change that!" Waterbone protested.

"I know. She's like that," Jaypaw muttered. "I'm really sorry."

Falcondusk flicks his tail as he hisses. "Well, I am sorry your kits like me and they got me to fall for them. I am sorry that I do love Waterbone and want to be with her. I want to be happy like you have!"

Bluepaw;;

Bluepaw lifted her head up, hearing hisses. "Dad, dad, please!" she called, unsure where he was exactly but.. in the room somewhere. "Falcondusk is a kind cat. He wouldn't harm Waterbone."

[storm coming.]

Applepaw sighed. A playful smile appeared on her face and she was her old self once again. She tackled Jaypaw, pinning him down and giggling. "Why didn't you warn me, silly!" She purred.

Jaypaw grinned, batting gently at her muzzle. "Hey!" he purred.

Falcondusk flicks his tail as Slateclaw looked at the cats.

Pikeflower's claws dug into the carpet floor (or is it wooden?) as if he was imagining that it was Falcondusk instead. "You could be happy with a she-cat your age. Or at least a she-cat who wasn't my daughter! You are nearly as old as I am." He turned his attention to Waterbone now to say, "Have you ever thought about why he doesn't have a mate his age? Why would he have to go after someone so young much younger? Someone young and vulnerable that he could easily control?" His tone was much softer now that he wasn't speaking to Falcondusk. In fact, he sounded like he was on the verge of tears. Pikeflower was terrified for what kind of future his daughter would have with this tom.
