Deerpaw had continued to hide from the other cats until Eaglepaw had walked to her hiding spot. She jumped before slowly padding closer. "E-Eaglepaw" she whispered.

Foxpaw seemed to have lost her spunk. She always scared other cats away. She sighed as she watched her crush walk away. Sitting on the other side of the clearing she just stared at her paws. What had she said wrong?

Lilypaw nodded, slightly reassured. "Thank you Scartail, I'm just very worried." She meowed before glancing at the gathering entrance, where HopeClan were finally entering from. Looking back at Scartail, she asked. "Do you know if Emeraldsky is here yet?" The calico fæ looked at Faithstar and the trail of cats behind her, unable to see the HopeClan medicine cat's creamy coloured fur.

Minnowpaw looked at the two medicine cats before following Rabbitpaw over to Lilypaw and Scartail. "Lilypaw! Scartail!" She called as she ran over with the other apprentice.

"I-I'm ok. Are you hiding too?" she mewed quietly. She shuffled her paws nervously while looking around the gathering before turning her gaze back to Eaglepaw.

Flamepaw tilted his head, taking in the scents and noises of the clearing. It was almost overwhelming, but Flamepaw pressed closer to his clan-mates, enveloping himself in their scent. He wanted to talk to someone, maybe make a new friend, but he didn't know who to go to. Flamepaw felt like every cat had already found someone to talk to, and he was just left alone in the mingling of fur and scent. He decided to move away from the crowd, and he eventually made himself comfy next to a tree stump, and watched all the cats padding around eachother. His ears were still drooped, and he was feeling unusually tired, but he couldn't let himself miss this gathering for Starclan themselves.

"I guess you can say I'm hiding." He answered before laying down and nervously looked to the ground. Should he tell her? She was a friend with Robinpaw and he trusted her anyways. Eaglepaw took a deep breath in and meowed, "Hey Deerpaw, can I tell you something?" Yes he would. Having a few cats he really trusted that knew about his condition wouldn't hurt. Eaglepaw knew they wouldn't say a word to another cat or leader or even medicine cat about this.
