Otterpaw spotted one of her mentors out of the corner of her eye. She dipped her head as if to say hello, before waving her tail in greeting. "Thanks." She purred softly when she spotted coltsfoot she collected earlier that week at her paws. Trying not to be rude to the tom she was previously talking to, Otterpaw sat back down before bending her head over the beautiful flower-like plant. It smelled sweet, yet she knew it tasted tangy if you ate it. She opened her jaws to quickly turn the herb's leaves into a pulp, before dabbing her paw in the substance to smear over her cracked paws. She winced as the herb went into effect, creating a stinging sensation throughout her heals, but she knew it would feel a lot better later. Reluctantly, the small she-cat began to smear more of the liquid into her pads.

Juniperpaw nodded. "Yes, we should go." She said. She turned and dug up the rabbit to bring back to camp. "Here, you can lean on my shoulder. Don't put pressure on your paw." She mewed, offering her shoulder to Rainpaw.

Blackshine padded into camp, a robin in his jaws. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and dropped it, glacing around. The black tom padded off, sitting down in a cornor of camp.

Silverleaf|She-Cat|Medicine Cat|Single|Open
Silverleaf sat in the medicine cat's den sorting throught herbs. She soon finished her job, wondering where Otterpaw and Towheeflight were. The silver she-cat padded out into the clearing of camp and looked around shyly.

Tigerstar
Half-blind faded tortoiseshell she-cat | Leader | Tags; Foxfrost, Bayou and Catmint.
- Tigerstar's attention snapped up to the Loner. Was she imagining it? No, he was speaking to thin air. For a moment, she opened her jaws to say something sharp, but held her tongue.
He'll get a chance to explain himself, She thought, and shook her head.
Hopping down, she sat beside her deputy and waited for the last of the clan to gather around before she began speaking.

Rainpaw
Grey and white piebald tom | Apprentice | Tags; Cloverheart, Juniperpaw
-Rainpaw nodded stiffly, hobbling over to her with his catch in his jaws.
"Sure, thank you." He winced with each step, but thanked Starclan when he saw the stream up ahead. From the camp, he could hear cats bustling about, murmured voices and concerned mews. He perked his ears, trying to listen in.
"Sounds like something important is going on..." He muttered wearily around a mouthful of fur as he limped up towards the camp entrance.

Shadowpaw
All black tom with flashing green eyes | Apprentice | Tags; Dewpaw
-Shadowpaw trotted over to sit closer to the others. He spotted Dewpaw, and maneuvered his way through the cats towards his clanmate.
Approaching her and her kin, he dipped his head to the elder cats, then sat beside the apprentice.
"What do you think is going on?" He whispered to her, wrapping his long tail around his black paws.

Ravenclaw
Unusually large maine coon tom | Warrior | Tags; Otterpaw, Blackshine
- Ravenclaw snorted at Otterpaw's response.
"Sounds like a load of mouse-dung to me," he grumbled, shaking his head. As he watched the loner, he raised his eyebrows when the cat began to do what appeared to be speaking to no one. He glanced at Otterpaw, then back at the cat.
"Is he....?" He trailed off, cocking his head at the tom in question. Either this cat really was a lunatic, or the clan was in for something shocking. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Blackshine. He waved his tail to his old friend.
"Blackshine!" He called across camp for the black tom to sit with him and Otterpaw.

Otterpaw smiled softly at his comment, wanting to laugh out loud but she held it in. She followed Ravenclaw's gaze to see Blackshine. She beckoned the tom over with a flick of her tail. "Greetings, Blackshine." She chirped in a friendly tone, scooting over so he could sit by her. "I'm still having trouble with the fighting part of my training." She sighed softly, shaking her head. "I'm sticking to herbs, thank-you very much."

Towheeflight sat quietly, awaiting the words of his leader, a rustle behind him signaling the exit of a cat from the medicine cat's den. He turned his ears and parted his mouth, scenting the she-cat he knew as Silverleaf step out. he turned his head "silverleaf" he called out, motioning with his tail for the fellow medicine cat to come over.

Bayou

Bayou lifted his head as he heard pawsteps step out, seeing tigerstar and a pretty russet shecat. "who's that?" he spoke out, turning his ears towards catmint who ansered simply.
"Foxfrost from what i understand, she is the deputy and next leader of mistclan, although that might be a while." she spoke.
Bayou turned his head to catmint "foxfrost hm?" he muttered, looking ou tot the clan "wow... this clan is larger then most others... and this camp is really well made...? he continued "It reminds me of that tribe from before... what was it?"
"The Tribe of rushing waters" catmint inputted
"Yeah that"
"This clan is kin of the tribe of rushing water, couldn't you tell?" she asked, motioning with a sweep of her tail to the toms and shecats awaiting their leader.

He nodded, smiling. "Fighting isn't for everyone. I was close to one of the lake clan's medicen cats during the great journey. My Starclan, that hurt my paws. I'm glad their used to all of this stone now." He chuckled.

Silverleaf|She-Cat|Medicine Cat|Single|Towheeflight
The shy she-cat lifted her head, hearing her name. She padded over to the blind Tom. "Yes?" She asked,her voice quiet and calm like usual. The young she-cat looked up to the Tom almost as a mentor even though she was a full fledge medicine cat herself.

Tigerstar

- At last, the molten she-cat straightened up, raking her gaze across the clearing, and stalked up towards the top of the stairs. She stood there for a moment, hovering, premeditating what she might say. She observed her clan. Most of them were happily socializing, and some were looking coldly in Bayou's direction. Slight hostility flashed in Hawkshadow's eyes. Curiosity sparkled in Shadowpaw's. She flinched at the thought of a negative reaction, and sighed. Looking up, she peered through the tree tops at the beginning of a fading sky. A single star gleamed in the disappearing orange and pink light- the first of the night.
To her, she had always been told that the first star to show i's face at dusk was the past leader of the clan, watching over her. She smiled half-heartedly, the thought of Smokestar's spirit keeping an eye on them warming her slightly.
Blinking, Tigerstar turned her attention back to the Mistclan cats. After a heartbeat of staring at them blankly, she took in a breath.
"I'm sure you are all wondering why I have gathered you here now, at this time." She began. "I'm also sure you have taken notice of the strange cat in our presence. Today, Otterpaw encountered a... Traveler, by the south border. This cat claims he walks in the paw steps of Starclan, yet he has a kittypet name!" Tigerstar paced the ledge now as she explained, pausing at the last sentence. "I've brought you here to decide as a clan what shall become of him." She turned her one-eyed gaze to Bayou. "I will ask you again, Loner. Is this some sort of Tribe of Rushing Water trickery?"

"You always were a bit clumsy when it domes to aiming your blows," he commented lightly, batting a paw over her ear, but stopping instantly when Tigerstar began to speak. He listened intently, growing hot when the Tribe of Rushing Water's name was mentioned. He let a hiss rip from his throat, glaring at the black tom in wait for an answer.

Blackshine looked up at Tigerstar, confused. He never got why Mistclan hated The Tribe of Rushing Water because no one told him, but he had no quarrel with the cats. If there was a war he would fight with his clan for anything but he still didn't hate the odd cats. He listened intently to the she-cat as she spoke. He took his attention away for a moment to look at the strange cat then sighed lightly, focusing once more on Tigerstar.
