Mousestripe returned to camp not long after Lilypelt left the nursery. "I feel like I missed something," he meowed.

"You did" Lillypelt meowed. "Go to the Nursery. There's someone who'd like to see you."

Rabbitpaw hurried over, trying to peek in the nursery. "may i see the kits?" she asked eagerly.

"Not yet." Emberleaf meows. "Tradition states that the Father, if living, sees the kits first."

"We'll go together," Nettlepaw meowed as Mousestripe pushed his way into the nursery.

Rabbitpaw nodded at Nettlepaw. "Ok." she said, a little disappointed. She sat down outside the nursery next to him, waiting till they could go in.
