Feather chuckled as Westpaw launched herself onto his back, but his ears dipped as he heard his mentor calling for him. He slowly got up and licked his chest fur, making sure he looked presentable. He did seem kinda happy Westpaw was disappointed, maybe she enjoyed his company too. "Can Westpaw come?" He looked up at his mentor with big, hopeful eyes.



((Not that I run the RP or anything, but I think quite a few people are inactive to the point it gets hard to RP. Poor Westpaw hasn't even seen her mentor! Maybe a few PM's to see if those people are still able to RP would be nice, so everyone can have fun!))

The apprentice nodded her agreement to her leader. "Of course, Feralstar." She had just begun to take a step back towards the apprentices' den to await any call from a warrior when- to her immense surprise- Featherpaw spoke up for her and asked the clan's leader if she could come. "Oh no, it's okay. I wouldn't feel right about ruining your training. I'm sure my mentor is around," she assured the tom apprentice only to hear Feralstar's answer of, "Alright." Westpaw glanced back at Feralstar in an even greater surprise, even though the she cat seemed a bit reluctant to succumb to her apprentice's question. "Oh, um, thank you, Feralstar," the young apprentice said with a soft smile.

Despite the urge to bounce up happily when his mentor agreed, Featherpaw was able to contain his energy and simply smiled. His tail did quiver a bit in excitement. "It's good because I'll be able to practice with Westpaw." He added in with a smile as he nodded once more. "Let's get to training then!" He meowed happily.
