Fawn sat alone and watched a few members of her flurry. Fawn was really bored, so she hummed to herself.

Smudge

"Hey, Aurora...?" The male murmured, bounding over to his leader and dipping his head low. "Are you okay? You seem a little...on edge."

[mochi.]

Pike

Pike trampled over little tree branches and ran over to Fawn. "Hey" he said as he sat down next to her. "I have somthing to tell you" Pike said in a bit of an urgent tone.

"Yup! We mean joining the flurry. Our flurry. Would you like to?"said Chibi to the stranger(Pip).Sorrena whispered,"Chibi, it's almost sundown. If we don't get back, then the Alpha would worry. Like she has more to not worry about,"then she turned her gaze on the stranger(Pip)and said,"Would you like some time to think about it? And maybe you should sleep near the hollow. It is, of course, safer, since that nasty old hawks around here somewhere, I'm sure of it."

Meanwhile, Spade noticed Smudge walking over to the Alpha. He looked as worried as the Alpha did. Spade thought this all looked strange. The Alpha would of course be worried, with her flurry's kits out in the open where that old hawk was there, but he knew she would trust them, or she would've forbidden this to happen. Or add more kits to one group. She wouldn't be as worried. 'There must be a secret' Spade thought. He would ask the Alpha, and if she doesn't tell him, he will ask for accompany, and go and find out why. He hoped they were back soon. Before sundown.

"Smudge!" she said in surprise. "Oh i'm fine! absolutely no reason why you should look in my burrow! nope we should err... go wait for the others...it's getting late! you wait if they get back late i'm gonna...." She trailed off dragging Smudge behind her.

Pip bounced happily from one paw to the other "No! i want to join!" he said over-eagerly.

"Yay!"celebrated the two kitkins,"Lets go back to camp.

Meanwhile, Spade thought about what the Alpha said to Smudge"—absolutely no reason why you should look in my burrow!—"
That meant the problem was in the burrow. Spade walked over to Smudge. He asked whether they were going to her burrow. He was also going to tell Chibi, Sorrena and the new recruited-if there were any- members. They would set out at night, and find out what it is.

"what are you two doing?" Aurora called to Spade "we've got to get the last of the foraging done before it gets too dark! do you want to be out here at night with that hawk stalking around?"
