Cloverpaw stared down at the piles of herbs, going through all their names in her head. "We need more catmint." She murmered to herself, "And Poppy seeds." She added, noticing they were almost out of both. She rose to her paws and swiftly padded to her mentor, "Redmoon, we need more catmint and poppy seeds." She mewed.

Redmoon turned to his apprentice. "Well go get them," he snapped. "I wont be nice to you, you're an apprentice. I dont like apprentices."

Cloverpaw shrugged, "I don't like fox lovers either." She retorted before turning towards the camp entrance and quickly padding over. She didn't stop or look back, she just padded straight out of camp to fetch the catmint and poppy seeds.

JayChaser ate the mouse with exagerated 'Mmmmm' sounds. "That was very good," he told her with a smile. "So what do you think of Leafclan?"

"I like it.", Feather mewed."Bt could you tell me more about it?All I know so far is that you eat prey and live with foxes.But they don't eat the cats.They are really very nice", she finish confidently.

Redmoon growled under his breath and wondered when Mistystar would get back.

JayChaser smiled. "We try to be," he laughed jokingly. "The members of the clan take care of eachother and fight to protect their clan. We guard the young and the old from harm and are basically one big family."

Feather listened intently.It was obvious she was very excited.After all it was all very new."Can house cats join?Because it sounds like alot more fun than my house folk.", she mewed.Her mixed colored eyes glittered with happiness.Maybe Frosty will even join if I ask him, she thought hopefully.He had always been like family to her and she didn't want to leave him behind.

Rushingpaw was laying lazily in camp, her striped tail swishing back and forth behind her in a monotonous pace. Her paws were crossed, and her eyes followed individual, random cats in camp, as she waited patiently for somebody to approach her and give her an important assignment.

Crookedsmile was out hunting, trying to pay his Clan back for the food he had eaten in the time he had been there. His slender muzzle was dipped towards the ground, and the black tip of his nose twitched as his nostrils flared, collecting scents of cats, foxes, and finally, prey.

She listened as WillowWhisper offered to join the patrol, but they needed someone else. "Anyone else?"

Rushingpaw jumped at the chance to be on patrol. Finally, some action, she thought as she bounded over, energy coursing through her veins. "I'll come!" She offered immediately.

Crookedsmile grinned wickedly to himself as he followed the prey-scent. It would be so easy, he decided, to hunt something like a rabbit. He crept slowly after the individualized smell, his ears forward and alert, and his eyes wide open and searching for signs of movement. Suddenly, ahead, a rabbit bounced forward, relying on a quick burst of speed. Crookedsmile, however, had stamina, and he raced patiently after it, catching it only when it wore out. He killed it swiftly and quickly, proud of himself.

JayChaser nodded. "We are always looking for more members," he said. "But you must remember you can never go back to your house-folk and it isnt all fun and games. We have to serve our clan."
