Cinderclaw nuzzled him back. "I-i want to give you something." she told him turning and padding over to a small bush. She pulled out an artificial flower. "My mother was a kittypet, and she gave this to me to give to someone who i thought was special to me... And i think that you are the one this flower is meant for." she said nudging the flower over to him.

Creekfoot purred and took the delicate object in his paws, carefully fastening his teeth around the edge, "well, your certainly not a kittypet, your the most loyal cat that I know, Cinderclaw," he beamed widely, "thank you," he dipped his head. His teeth loosely surrounded the edge of the artificial stem. Creekfoot stared into Cinderclaw's eyes, "now, let's get hunting, we've got a lot of work to do," another purr rumbled in his throat as his fur brushed against Cinderclaw's

Creekfoot nodded in agreement, "yup, you haven't noticed?" He let out a chuckle with a hint of surprise, and waded into the lack, his short fur extended in the water, bobbing up and down with the steady motion of calm water. A fish gracefully swam a few foxlengths away from Creekfoot, and he decided on bouncing after it, sinking his fangs into it's scaly surface with ease, pulling it from the water with force as it went limp just after it was pulled from the water
