Wings of Fire: The Darkest Hour (Not Accepting)

Pathfinder tapped his tail on the cold stone floor, which was heating up slightly from Inferno's scales. "Very well," he said calmly. "What do you want to know?"

"What was it exactly were you looking for in this place and who put you up to it ... Also what do you know so far on whatever it was ?!" He snarled and looked at the nightwing's eyes "also while your at it do you have any future vision or mind reading powers?"

[Yveltal]

Pathfinder narrowed his green eyes, still tapping his tail tip lightly. "I was merely looking for samples," he said simply. "I don't know what fantasy popped into my mind that made me try and steal that egg." He glared right into Everest's eyes again. "And no, I do not have mindreading. I have precognition, and that's really none of your business."

Everest shook his head " I sense the unsertenty of you voice that is not the truth it it... So let's try again what were you here to do and who sent you... Don't try my patients ?" He hissed in his ears pretty sure he knew the answer but said nothing.

[Yveltal]

Pathfinder sighed. "Like I said: I was collecting samples around here to study. I got curious when I heard voices, and went to investigate. What more can I say to satisfy you?"

[~Night Whispers~]

Everest shook his head "there are numerous reasons I don't believe you ... One someone collecting samples would not be able to get the upper hand in a fight against me. Two you seammed like you had a reason to take that fire egg . And three your a nightwing and from experience I have only met a few nice nightwings in my life and you are certainly not one so spill it before I make you... Because I have multiple way of doing it."

Pathfinder rolled his eyes. "How many times do I have to say this? I was collecting samples. Cactus samples, to be precise. No, I did not have a specific reason to take the egg holding twins, I just thought it might be useful. I'm telling the truth. Not all NightWings are liars, unlike some SkyWings. Now, can you let go of me, please?"

Everest shook his head " I stand by what I think is right and your story is not ! Tell me what were you looking for or I will have to rip the answer from you!" He growled looking at him "and don't give me that sample stuff ! I know nightwings and the last thing they would care about is a cactus now tell the truth !" He hissed

"I'm telling the truth!" Pathfinder cried. "I was collecting samples from the only cactus that grows in the mountains: dragonflame cactus. It explodes when it touches fire, and we need it." He lashed his tail. "What more could y-" Pathfinder suddenly cried out, clutching his head and shutting his eyes tight.

Everest smiled "and what prey tell would you do with this dragon flame cactus if that is what you wanted to look for?" He said narrowing his eyes to slits . He didn't believe it but he was still going to ask.




(Should Everest at some point learn that he was there to find and kill the dragonets or not ?)
