Sandwhisker flexed his claws as the evening sunlight filtered through the trees, giving him one last fleeting view of the forest around him. "Eh, not really much," he sighed, gazing around him at the trees. "Kinda hoping I'll stumble upon wherever the cats are disappearing to." He shrugged, swishing his tail back and forth. "My sister has been more protective than ever, considering the disappearances... it's rather overbearing, which is why I spend most of my time hiding from her out in the forest." He laughed, looking back at Feralclaw sitting next to him. "You know how she is..." He trailed off, sighing again. It had been a dark time lately, with everyone going missing. Hard to laugh about anything anymore.

Mysticwater let a purr escape her throat. "Yeah, I do know what you mean." The tip of her tail twitched. "Though I don't think Nightwhisper and Leafstar are part of the patrol." She mewed. She had seen the way that they looked at each other. Not Nightwhisper seemed more aware of his feelings than Leafstar did. She knew that Leafstar's love for Snowpelt had diminished, but she was a loyal cat and would not leave him. Mysticwater wondered how long that would last with Snowpelt missing.

Lightpaw glanced over where Phoenixblaze was talking to Darkflame. "You two may as well catch up. It doesn't look like he'll be taking you out today. You just arrived after all. You're probably worn out from your journey." A flicker of nervousness twinged inside her belly as she realized how quickly they had accepted Leafpaw into the clan. She pushed it away with a shake of her head. Leafpaw was a good cat. But what if she wasn't?

Frostfeather glanced at the quickly sinking sun. "Sure, but we'll need to be quick." She replied, standing up and stretching.

Firestorm purred, "well we better get back to camp so that you can get a good rest in before tomorrow." He mewed, standing up.

Leafstar flashed him a looked. Then smirked. "Well come on then." She called, bounding down from her den and exiting camp.

Before Bluesoul could speak, her stomach let out a long growl. She smirked. "I would say that's a yes."

Thunderkit lept to his feet. "I'll go get something! I'm starving too!"

Nightwhisper followed behind her, chuckling softly. He caught up to Leafstar, making sure to stay just far away so their pelts wouldn't touch.

Sparkpelt nodded. "Thunderkit, you and your brother can go pick out what we'll eat, okay?"

Bramblekit purred. "Okay!"

FeralClaw chuckled a bit after that one thing the other tom had said, but lowered his head and ears slowly to what he said afterwards. The long haired tom decided to move a bit closer to Sandwhisker, and nuzzled his shoulder gently in a comforting way; as it seemed he was feeling a bit saddened to FeralClaw. FeralClaw started to purr quietly.

"Race you!" Thunderkit mewed, dashing off towards the fresh-kill pile.

Leafstar slowed to let Nightwhisper catch up with her. She padded towards the Deathclan border. She was curious to see if there was any activity.

Slash padded through the thick undergrowth of Leafclan territory. He was stalking a robin.

Squirrelpaw- 26 moons - apprentice - Firestorm, Thunderkit and Bramblekit -

Squirrelpaw nodded, and calmly followed Firestorm, yawning loudly. Flicking her tail, Squirrelpaw entered the camp, and spotted Thunderkit racing towards the preypile, along with another kitten. Chuckling softly, the ginger tabby smiled warmly at the kittens.

"Get some rest." Firestorm reminded her as they entered camp. He then padded over to Phoenixblaze and Darkflame to question then about the strange cat.

So they're missing cats too he thought turning his head to them again to listen to everything.

"Yes, I hope they're fine and return soon" she mewed careful not tell about the prophecy, and cause a panic. Then she remembered about Slash telling her to work on working out the prophecy, and her mind wondered.

Rose/Loner/Location: At Leafclan border/Feeling: Weary/Crush: Open/Tags: Open
Rose sat at the border of leafclan eating her squirrel contently.

Forestpaw/Leafclan/Location: Leafclan camp/Feeling: Happy/Crush: Open/Tags: Lightpaw and Leafpaw
Forestpaw looked at the two warriors, and smiled at them. "I guess so, well we could always gather moss for cleaning one of the nest in the apprentice den, or make a new one?" he suggested. Instead of sleep we could chat quietly he thought to himself purringly.

Leafpaw looked at Lightpaw wondering if that was okay, or I'd they should do something else. There's a lot of things to find out what to do she thought hoping to be just like them.

She nodded, glancing at Thunderkit one last time, before slinking into the apprentices den. Squirrelpaw was trembling with anticipation of her warrior's ceremony, and she fell asleep with a smile on her face.

Bramblekit squealed when his brother took off. "Hey, you got a head start!" He raced after him with a growl.

Nightwhisper realized they were close to the border with Deathclan, his ears pricking in surprise. "Oh.. Are we hunting Deathclan cats now, Leafstar?" He glanced over at her, wondering why they were there. "The prey's better on th--" He stopped, scenting Deathclan on their side. "Do you smell that..?"

Sparkpelt watched his kits chase each other, chuckling a little. "They're too much."
