She slowed down, eventually coming to a stop. "Flintfoot?" She called out softly, her tail drooping. "I'm sorry." She lowered her head, and sat down. 'What do I do now?' She asked herself. 'Either he was ignoring me, or didn't hear me... I hope he doesn't resent me... I also hope he finds happiness.' She watched Sootcloud walk away. "Er... Fish?"

Flamewing sighed, and trotted back to camp. She looked around d and saw Riverstorm next to the Warriors den. "Ah! Riverstorm!" She bounded next to him. "I talked to him, but..." She looked down at her paws.

Riverstorm stood up, feeling his gut twist when he saw his mate. "But.. What?" He asked, trying to mask how worried he was. What if she realized she wants Flintfoot? What if she doesn't want to be mates with me anymore? What if…? he silently thought to himself, his mind buzzing with questions.
