Rosey jumped, surprised by the sudden voice. It just occurred to her that she ran to the forest, instead of further into her yard. She shifted her eyes from her yard, where the two cats fought, and the forest cat. She decided to take her chances with the forest cat, as she seemed nice enough. "I'm alright." She mumbled, barely audible to herself.

Tinycloud gave the kit a lick on the head. "You look frightened... Where are your parents young one?"


Blitz hissed, and jabbed his paw into Scorchs eyes, then lunged forward and bit into his ear and began to tug.

Ashkit opened her eyes and was frightened by the cats around her. So she stayed in her bundle and fell back asleep. She liked the warmness of her tail warming her up. So why leave now?

"I guess a rabbit will do." As if on cue, a rabbit hopped up near the two. Thorntail immediately dropped into a hunter's crouch and quieted his purring.

Ashkit curled up into a fluffy ball, doing her first, faint purr as she fell asleep to her mother's heartbeat.

Russetpaw also stop purring, as not to frighten the rabbit away, but she continued to smile lovingly after him. If only I was a warrior, She thought desperately, her eyes clouding with grief, Then this wouldn't feel so... wrong.

Sprucekit falls asleep to his mother's heartbeat and warmth.

Firestorm purrs, "I like that name."

Rainpelt purrs. "And Nightkit."

Thorntail watched as the rabbit got closer, then he pounced and gave a quick chase before pinning it to the ground and giving it a swift bite to the neck, killing it. He smiled through the rabbit's fur as he padded back to Russetpaw. "Thth enogh?" it sounded like through the fur.
