The eagle dove down at them, its talons bared and ready to cut through flesh. Blackraven swiped at the powerful bird only managing to hook a couple of feathers from its wing. He received a cut on his cheek when it fly by. "Don't worry, Motheyes. I'll protect you whatever the cost." Nightpool arrived, relief flooded over him but only for a moment. "Jump on its back! It'll come at us again!" He instructed her.

Nightpool nodded jumping onto it's back. The infuriated eagle flapped up taking Nightpool up with it. The bird-brain probably felt extra weight. It landed snapping its head back. It moved its yellow beak to her back tearing up the flesh and throwing her off. Nightpool screeched in pain as she saw the eagle flapping off. Nightpool was dizzy and her eyesight was fading.

Gingerheart just sat there in shock, unable to move, unable to breath. He was scared to death and that meant he was too terrified to spring into action, even to save his own sister.
Finally, he started racing into the clearing, still unable to speak, but he lunged at the bird that was attacking Nightpool. He only spared a slight glance as his sister. The bird flapped away from Nightpool's limp form and instead focused it's attention on the ginger tom. His bright pelt was easier to see anyways. Gingerheart leapt up and battered the eagle's feet. "Come down you fox-heart!" he spat. Much to his misfortune, the bird obeyed. The bird slashed out with his talons, scratching the tom's eye. He yowled and fell to the ground, all his energy seeping out at once.

Motheyes' vision was moving in and out in and out, and there was nothing she could to change that. Nothing, that is, until she saw her brother rushing to Nightpool's rescue. And then was thrown to the ground. Motheyes looked back at Blackraven. "Le-let me go. I-I've got to help Gingerheart." She thought back to all those times that he was strong for her, saved her, was kind to her when mother wasn't. "I-I have to repay hi-him..."

Blackraven watched as his clamates were being attacked and getting seriously injured. He glanced at Motheyes and nodded. "We'll attack together." The advised an helped her to her paws. His green gaze focusing on the eagle.

"G-gingerheart..." Nightpools voice faded like black to white. She passed out barely breathing now.

Gingerheart heard his name and his head swiveled. It was Nightpool and as far as he could tell, she was dead. He hissed. Even with his gaze covered in blood, he could still find the eagle. It was on the ground now, hopping around, with it's wings obviously hurt. He leapt for it, but it sprang in the air once more. Even with it's injured wing, it was still only wavering in the air. Gingerheart lost sight of it as it flew into his blind spot. He abandoned trying to look for it and instead went to Nightpool. He stood over her and started to look for the bird again. It was still no where to be seen, but his field of vision was getting smaller and smaller as blood continued to cover his eyes.

Motheyes nodded a Blackraven, "Thank you," she told him and she started rushing out as best as she could. Her pace was slow and she knew she wasn't going to be very effective in a fight, but she also knew she had to try. She could tell Gingerheart couldn't see the bird and it was diving for him. A shock went through her body, a burst of adrenaline and she rushed in front of both him and Nightpool. The eagle struck her and everything went black.

Blood seeped into Nightpools eyes waking her up. The eagle was swooping to Gingerheart talons ready to strike, Nightpool heaved herself up with mighty effort moving Gingerheart out of the way and dodging extremely slowly to avoid its talons

"No!" Blackraven yowled. He lauched himself at the eagle bowling it over. Taking his chance, he clamp down on its neck while it flailed beneath him. His stomach was clawed at but he didn't dare let go of his grip even though the pain was unbearable. Tears running down his face from pain and sorrow as the powerful bird now went limp.

(So we went to the gathering and nothing happened there because really like no one showed up. Lionstar just announced the new deputy - Echoblaze and Mothwing is preggers with Autumnclaw's kits. An eagle just showed up and killed Motheyes now? Nightpool, Gingerheart and Blackraven are there too. The eagle is dead but Nightpool is seriously injured and yea...)

(Stuff that will be happening:
Lionstar and Fawnstar start meeting and they both get sick - we're going to have Duskclan and Sunclan have an outbreak of sickness and the two clans will come together. Rogues will come and take charge leading to the prophecy. The prophecy cats are Blackraven and Volantcry's kits, who will save the two clans from the rogues.)
